  1. A Sheffield United blog/forum would be the place to find out, by Greens' own admission his time there wasn't a lovefest between him and the fans.
  2. I'm sure he was handsomely remunerated for his part in obliterating the profits.
  3. He joined them on 14/1/97, in the year to 30/6/97 their profits fell 40.89% (profit of £1,667,000 down from £2,820,000) He left them on 30/6/98, in the year to 30/6/98 their profits fell 181.88% (loss of £1,365,000)
  4. Broomloan tickets that didn't include Celtic games have a smaller reduction.
  5. I have renewed only because I have no choice, had I had a choice I would've went on a match to match basis.
  6. He's wrong there, the £25m that they're suing for is the £25m Paul Murrays' recapitalisation plan would have invested in RFC plc had Whyte not bought us nothing whatsoever to do with any money that went through RFC plc accounts (or even should have).
  7. Four years after Manchester and we're getting excited about the Ramsdens Cup, it's scarcely believable!
  8. You would think it would be a stick on to be declared a conflict of interest by the court as those who stand to gain by us receiving a negative result are the clients of the investigators who just recently removed a testimonial given by no other than Peter Lieswell.
  9. "Independent tribunal" apparently which is code for hand picked by Lieswell, given that the evidence is being gathered and presented by Celtic's lawyers it's pretty much a forgone conclusion as is any subsequent appeal to the SFA.
  10. Which they already ruled out as being too severe. I too am weary.
  11. Assumptions about winning? it may have escaped your notice but eh we actually won the case and Lord Glennie decreed that the SFA acted ultra vires. There will be nobody happier to go through the gates at Glebe Park on Sunday than I.
  12. ...and there is no investigation by Celtic's lawyers and the SPL won't hand the matter over to an "independent tribunal" (handed picked by Lieswell) and they won't hand Lieswell his wish on a plate.
  13. Do you for one second think the SFA's refusal to grant us a licence because we refused to accept a registration ban that Lord Glennie declared ultra vires would have stood up in a court? The SFA had the option to appeal Lord Glennie's decision why do you think it didn't?
  14. Most of you thought likewise of Whytes' statements though eh ?
  15. Duress or not it rode roughshod over the judgement of Lord Glennie.
  16. I don't for one second think it was the right of appeal to the SFA that was at stake that's as forgone a conclusion as you'll ever likely to get. It's our inalienable right to legal redress that I'm concerned about. Sorry but must have missed the rule that states licking Greens arse is mandatory. I'm highly sceptical of Green and his "investors" desire and ability to properly fund us in the long run, their Plan A and Plan B blew up in their faces and we're now on at least Plan C. Given that Green has decided to ignore the ruling of Lord Glennie that the SFA acted ultra vires in handing out the player registration ban and despite Lord Glennie awarding us the expenses of the litigation Green has now decided to accept the ban and agreed to pay the SFA's expenses, I'd imagine both Lord Glennie and Richard Keen QC will not be highly amused at what now effectively was a complete and utter waste of their time and energy, so I remain highly sceptical of his claims that he'll defend our titles, . I have no problem praising Green if praise is due (see other thread re Green statement) but equally have no problem issuing brickbats if need be. Feel free to list those contradictions
  17. Spot the difference, new dropped from one passage but still in there further down the statement!
  18. Is that the 'B' side of your "I love Duff & Phelps" single?
  19. What fool thinks the SFA were wanting us to drop our right of appeal to them?
  20. Yes I realised just after posting it related to the other case hence the edit, but nonetheless it's worth noting Rhegans comments on the Lennon affair and the clear double standards being applied against us as compared to his view on them.
  21. Proof of Rhegans double standards from his own lispy lips.
  22. We should be going hell for leather to achieve this:
  23. If you accept the plaudits then you must accept the brickbats when they come along too.
  24. Supporters Assembly press release TIME TO CALL THE SFA TO ACCOUNT
  25. I see GS has converted you.....
