  1. It's pretty apparent from the (full) interview that Whyte thinks he's been screwed over by Duff & Phelps, he obviously thought administration (and/or liquidation) would only take a few weeks and that we would emerge from that with him in charge. So obviously feels there's a score to settle there, however just because David Grier was fully aware of what went on doesn't mean Clark & Whitehouse were but being partners the Manuel " I know nothing" excuse won't wash. As for Whyte introduced Green to Duff & Phelps I actually believe both of them because the stories are much the same with Whyte playing it up and Green playing it down. Was a bit taken aback when McLaughlin asked him, "How much did you make?", I thought he'd say nothing or even it cost me money yet he replied, ""Any arrangements I had with the purchaser are confidential but I don't think that's important here." Does he mean purchaser as in Green or was it a slip of the tongue and he actually meant vendor as in Murray. He was pressed again but wouldn't "confirm or deny" what he made out of us.
  2. Pretty tame compared to what those of us who doubted his ability to walk on water were called.
  3. No way the BBC would have run with those allegations without seeing proof and having that proof double legaled.
  4. What odds on Duff & Phelps themselves being made a party to the action due to their complicity in the Ticketus deal?...........
  5. And Green despite saying he would has never told us who exactly the beneficial owners of the club actually are.
  6. I honestly don't know. Perhaps he sees some money about to be made out of us and thinks he's entitled to a cut of that?
  7. I'm led to believe that there were quite a few clandestine meetings between Green and Whyte over the last few weeks, it certainly looks like Whyte didn't get what he wanted from them. I imagine we'll have to wait for Reporting Scotland before we see the interview.
  8. I assume their meeting a fortnight ago at The Ritz in London left Whyte feeling a bit peeved !
  9. Whyte must be aware that as far the Rangers support is concerned he is beyond redemption in all shapes and forms. Green claimed on May 13 that he met Whyte for the first time on May 1, hopefully one of them will be able to prove whether that is the case or not. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/13/rangers-charles-green-craig-whyte
  10. I think it's more like, "I'm not going down alone", wouldn't be surprised that if the push comes to shove he turns Queens.
  11. A few parties have some interesting statements to make.
  12. I somehow doubt that Duff & Phelps will be running to Carter Ruck.
  13. I expect Collyer Bristow to turn this round so it bites Duff & Phelps in the arse in light of Whyte's revelation. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-19976991
  14. Sorry try this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-19976991
  15. Craig Whyte: I brought Charles Green in to buy Rangers Craig Whyte claims to have introduced Charles Green to Duff and Phelps Craig Whyte has claimed he introduced Charles Green to Duff and Phelps as the administrators searched for a buyer for Rangers. The former Rangers owner made the claim in a wide-ranging interview with BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin. He also claimed Duff and Phelps knew of the controversial Ticketus deal before the purchase of the club was complete. Mr Whyte said the SPL knew in October 2011 that Rangers "had no money" and were heading for administration. Full details of the interview, and reaction to it, will be on the news website later and on Reporting Scotland at 18:30. There will be further analysis and discussion on Newsnight Scotland at 23:00 on BBC 2 Scotland. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotlan...-west-19976991
  16. alex thomson ‏@alextomo Rangers: Duff and Phelps just texted. Statement due later today. I assume about BDO/liquidation. 17. I hope not!
  18. So next year instead of being £158m out in his figures Green will be just £135m out?
  19. Mentioned where?
  20. Green playing fast and loose with figures, there's a shock, Villa's turnover is nearer £92m not £250m. http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2012/may/24/football-premier-league-club-accounts
  21. I'd hazard a guess that things in this case might just take a distinct turn in the not so distant future.
  22. I honestly don't know if they would need them for the CG or not perhaps it's just a fortunate coincidence. Hampden does need them for the CG due to the fact that the existing spaces will be below the planned track, iirc they will be moving to the rear of the North Stand.
  23. They have HSE issues concerning the provision of wheelchair spaces, also forthcoming changes in UEFA regulations concerning the provision of wheelchair spaces. Both the Piggery and Hampden will comply with the new UEFA regulations courtesy of GCC. At least two sections of 45 elevated spaces will be installed in the Main Stand at the Piggery. It cost RFC £80k to install 4 (yes FOUR) elevated spaces in the Broomloan. RFC currently have no plans to comply with the upcoming UEFA regulations.
  24. Only difference I've noticed is they now don't honour the Bondholders discount cards (10%) in the megastore whereas JJB did.....
