You can loan money and get shares as security though, not sure the legal technicalities as to who they would actually "belong" to in such a scenario though. -

The Record story was a vague claim that Whyte was seeking to "mortgage" the season tickets, this allowed him to deny the story as technically they were pre-sold not mortgaged, the Record then dropped the story and picked up on it some time later. The credit for unmasking it goes to Eric Clelland a Jambo, it was on his Scibd site that the Companies House documents detailing the Ticketus deal were posted. -

That's f*&king laughable I posted the MGo5's on here, RM anf FF long before the record broke the story. -

The Ticketus deal, Whyte's non payment of PAYE and VAT both decried as Timmy bullshit. -

I read it on FF not a Scum site, ignoring everything they say is as dangerous as believing everything they say anyway, have we learned nothing? -

You think the club don't monitor his ramblings? -
Under the current management I agree, but a quicker route to Europe would have made the shares more attractive to investors you just need to see the emphasis put in playing in Europe in the prospectus to see that.

Clarify it? They should have thrown the first punch they knew this was coming, a simple statement that we are in a commercial dispute and are working on a mutually satisfactory solution would have put this to bed. -
No hindsight required I've stated the very point previously. We wouldn't have been eligible this season even if we had used the shell route but would have from the following on-wards if we qualified.

And playing the three wise monkeys to the threat of a winding up order two months after raising a claimed £22m is going to open their eyes? -
He missed the easiest way to get round the ban, he could have reversed into a shell company, strange that he didn't use this route considering his long standing relationship with Michael Edelson aka "the shellmeister".

You accountants have many ways of making something look like something it's not.... I'm not doubting you for a second but I don't think that's the way Green & co will portray it, he's the fast and loose type when it comes to bandying around figures.
-
The accounts will also be flattered by the inclusion of two sets of season ticket monies in one accounting period which will make things slightly opaque.
-
I like Alexander and think he's been a loyal servant but that's an example of where we could easily save half a million £'s per annum.
-
Black's best offer was £3k do you really think the extra £4k was necessary ? Same with Shiels. It looks to me like lessons unlearned. The funds raised by Green have to go a very long way and once they're gone they're gone there's no overdraft facilities to dip into, we have to have a full years funding in place before the start of each season, that looks achievable for the next two seasons with the IPO money but after that it's a different story.
-
Agreed, though we did pay a fee for Templeton it's unlikely he would be earning any less, likewise in a few seasons that may well look fair value then again it may not. Through all the protestations that we're now being run in a proper business like manner it's hard to see examples of those claims being fact, I find the potential board remuneration cost to be particularly alarming. I'd like to think the accounts when issued will provide proof that we have in fact cut our cloth according but that's more in hope than expectation.
-
Shiels was on £1500 a week at Kilmarnock, the best offer Ian Black had was £3k we pay them both £7k per week, it seems we have learned nothing from our profligate past.

No, two short pre-recorded segments early on.

He's been painting a scary picture of the youth system for quite a while and it just gets scarier and scarier especially when now more than ever we need a fully functioning youth system which at present it's patently not.
-
I do not doubt him for one second.
-
Frankly that's criminal and gives the appearance that there are some at Murray Park who do not want what's best for Rangers.
-
I'm not, I'm saying what part if any did Stretford play in the signings i.e did Stretford provide a list to pick from? Leggat used to have quite a bit to say about Stretford non of it complementary but he's all coy on that since he jumped into bed with Green.
-
That's irrelevant to the point I'm making though, I'm the last person you'll see on here making excuses for McCoist.
-
Wonder if Green's mate Stretford has his fingers all over this?
