  1. Thing is there's similar footage floating about of Rangers fans doing the exact same at Pittodrie. I wish people would realise there is no moral high ground on this issue it affects all wheelchair fans irrespective of what colour scarf they wear.
  2. Statement from Club 1872. Shows you how many f*&ks Club 1872 and those who pull their strings give about the wheelchair fans.
  3. Aberdeen and Falkirk both have similar areas and both suffer from the same problems of idiots banging and jumping on the roofs.
  4. The roof was constructed purely to provide shelter from the elements for the wheelchair users below a purpose it has served well and one I have been thankful for on many occasions, it was not constructed as a dance floor nor as a platform to bounce up and down on. No idiots on the roof and the roof doesn't collapse simples.
  5. I know for a fact they were fully aware of exactly what they were dancing on just before they landed on me and my friends, how none of us were seriously injured is simply miraculous. Behaviour such as that has been highlighted to both Kilmarnock stewards and Rangers security for years, they were fully aware of our concerns but did absolutely nothing to address them other than patronise us.
  6. I engaged with Club 1872 way back when they were formed but with all the resignations and infighting etc things just fell by the wayside, they're well aware of the shambles regarding Rangers and wheelchair fans yet they're not inclined to do anything about it.
  7. Sadly my personal experience over the decades just backs that up. I've been the Chairman of the Rangers Disabled Supporters Club for more years than I care to remember, sat as the disabled representative on the Rangers Fans Board, been on the Disability Matter Group since its inception. This scheme was apparently 18 months in the making and yet the first I heard about it was when I saw it on twitter.
  8. Meanwhile the waiting list for a wheelchair space remains over a decade long and once again this close season not one new single wheelchair space has been created. Four years ago when charges were introduced we were informed that any monies raised would be ring fenced for increased facilities, we're still waiting to see one penny spent in that area.
  9. Got a date for a wheelchair accessible bus tour?
  10. More
  11. Hope to f*&k it's Prishtina as I've booked the flights home!
  12. Lowering the pitch again is currently one of the options being investigated.
  13. Correct it's because of the goal post design of the roof supports, if the upper sections of the corners were filled in it would have meant a high proportion of restricted view seats. I think it may well be now possible to alter the roof structures to avoid pillars but whether it is financially feasible is a different matter. A point to bear in mind is that an average of 7000 season ticket holders are absent for each game and the club will try and promote secondary ticketing to help assuage demand from non season ticket holders. As for the screens they can be moved to the roofs of the Broomloan and Copland relatively easily.
  14. They're irrelevant as he sued the taxman and won millions.
  15. Another number 29 ?
  16. Think it's circa £700 in the central area but a lot less in the wings.
  17. 18 in the Govan Rear 16 everywhere else.
  18. For those of us banished to the front row of the enclosure's the ability to clearly see more than half the pitch would enhance the match day experience no end.
