  1. Can't use that for an accurate comparison as their figures include gross merchandise sales ours during that period included net receipts from the JJB dea, nice try though!!
  2. Thing is I doubt it's his fault anyway, it would fall under the scope of our £350k a year plus potentially the same again in bonuses for reasons unspecified plus in all probability a whack of share options commercial director (who rather bizarrely isn't a director of the plc) Imran Ahmed who in his infinite wisdom has hired the commercial guy who got the bullet from Watford who then replaced him with someone who worked for Rangers !
  3. It's Green who's always talking about it though.
  4. Over 82% of the shares are owned by the holding company PPR, only 17% are in "free float".
  5. Most likely an urban myth.
  6. Will nip to see them since they're playing Buchan Ladies in the cup on Sunday at Maud a small village a few miles out the road from here. Should be an easy win on paper as the Buchan Ladies only have a catchment area of approx 50k from which to source their players.
  7. Perhaps one of the Celtic directors has offered him a position at pastures new and he was checking out his prospective new employers?
  8. Ian Livingston.
  9. To me there is nothing offensive about it but that's not the point. The point is those singing it inside a football ground do so in the full and certain knowledge that it harms RFC. There is no list of "banned songs" as such.
  10. Neither do I but WTF is the point of singing it inside a football ground in the full and certain knowledge that it causes harm to RFC?
  11. The Billy Boys was sung at least twice. The song the "complaints" had been about will have been the same one that we got f*&ked for in Eindhoven, No Pope of Rome.
  12. He's busy updating all those "Charley Says,,,,,,," public information films from the seventies!!!
  13. We know the TV companies turn up the sound from the crowd during our games and turn it down during their's, we know the media is filled with those who hate us and pray for us to f*&k up but we persist in gift wrapping presents for them. What we sung was not the biggest problem, where we sung it was it seems collectively as a support we're not smart enough to realise that.
  14. If you hand your enemies a stick with which to beat you with then who's to blame when the pain begins to ache?
  15. We were the victims of our own stupidity no more, no less.
  16. No, just somebody who's interested the the long term health and success of Rangers not how much they can suck out of the club, someone who'll dispense the unvarnished truth not fill our heads with pie in the sky crap and tell us what he thinks we want to hear. My boss is a pure miserly slave wage paying moaning c*&t but since I'm self-employed his position is fairly secure. Our current regime need to get their own house in order if we are to prevail in the battles ahead.
  17. I wouldn't have any of them.
  18. The point I'm making is entirely relevant to the thread and relates to the article you posted. We should get our own dysfunctional house in order before attempting to rectify the other dysfunctional houses. There is no right side in this sorry saga both parties are at fault and in an ideal world both should depart, nobody can be bigger than the club.
  19. We have a Chairman and a CEO briefing against each other through the press and washing our dirty linen in public that's not the way we should be conducting our business let alone advocating that the rest of Scottish do likewise. The whole spectacle is unedifying and undignified, none of the parties involved or the club come out of this with their reputations enhanced. Let's not kid ourselves the temporary breakout of entente cordiale in the boardroom has little to do with the corporate structure and governance but everything to do with maintaining our overvalued share price, City types won't take too kindly to one of their own being booted out and the market can't handle Green's holding being dumped on it.
  20. Yes there is, Green needs to get our house in order before pontificating to others. I'm not the one wearing blinkers in this instance.
  21. Practice what you preach then Mr Green before you lecture all and sundry.
  22. A touch of the Basil Fawlty's in this thread....
  23. That's what I'm hearing, done deal apparently.
  24. If he stops making ludicrous claims then I won't be able to throw them back at him eh? but as long as he does he leaves the door open.
