  1. He was apparently a bit peeved that his contribution to our "success" hasn't been viewed with the same esteem as Green and Ahmed hence the ego boosting article today and column in Saturday's programme plus Leggat lauding him for the "success" of the IPO in his blog the other week.
  2. Since the club get the grand total of £0 from my season ticket my opinion has f*&k all to do with my views on Green &Co, purely based on what I'm watching week in week out and my total belief in the inability of the present management team to improve things. You really have to stop bringing Green into every thread....
  3. Yes it's over 15 years at present. There are circa 57 (+ or - a couple either way) season ticket holders, the waiting list exceeds that number.
  4. Perhaps it's a simple yes or no for you but when you face a 15 year wait for a season ticket if you decline to renew then it's not that black and white is it?
  5. If the option not to renew was available to me then I wouldn't but alas it's not so I will.
  6. I was at Pittodrie a few weeks later, Jock Wallace back in charge again. We had the Beach End in those days, they spent virtually the whole game singing "two hundred thousand abortion" towards McCoist. The circle is almost complete. McCoist is John Greig deja vu. GA is not exactly a lone voice in the wilderness.
  7. ....add a dash of Billy Liar,
  8. Or even how big a cut is Imran Ahmed getting out of our commercial deals?.....
  9. Interesting blog:
  10. Would that be the same Demba Ba Newcastle signed on a free transfer 5 months before St James's Park was renamed?
  11. Ah back to your Whytesque defence of it's all "the Timmy mhedia's fault". Plus ca change.
  12. Our stunning scouting system strikes again!!!
  13. From the accounts:
  14. Wouldn't £50 of every £300 immediately go to the VAT man? hence the £150 would become £125.
  15. Buchan Ladies 0 Rangers Ladies 1 Early goal was enough to see Rangers secure victory in this hard fought match.
  16. There is already a "special circumstances" clause within the UEFA FFP regulations.
  17. Pity you weren't so concerned at the actions of Whyte at the time eh? back then it was everybody else's fault but Whytes'. Some of us were shouting "murder, murder, murder" whilst you were turning a blind eye.
  18. At last the waiting is over. http://www.rangersfc.co.uk/news/headlines/item/3459-rangers-announce-new-kit-deal
  19. I'm not insinuating anything merely passing comment.
  20. Who knows perhaps the Eton schooled, Oxford and Edinburgh University educated retired High Court judge William Nimmo Smith may find himself once more seeking psychiatric treatment at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
  21. Playing him in defence or not won't make much difference in losing goals like last night because we have all 11 in the box defending corners and set pieces anyway
  22. I think it's self evident. It is happening again and again and again irrespective of the personnel utilised that would appear to indicate that the problem is not restricted to those on the field.
  23. Hindsight? that would seem to suggest he hasn't taken note of our previous performances for our failure to defend set pieces and our inability to profit from our own set pieces has been blindingly obvious to anyone who's witnessed us play, the manager is every bit as culpable as the players in this respect perhaps more so.
  24. It worked out at £6m due to the upfront payment and the early termination.
