I think it'll return a not proven. Then Whyte will lob more grenades. Then what? Another review? Ad infinitum? All the while the club suffers.

Yesterday's statement. People seem to be confusing "independent commission" with the decision to "commission an independent examination and report".

Alas I feel the moment has passed...

it was indeed the decades old myth of German efficiency destroyed in minutes !

rangers statement on todays board meeting.

He's still a director of RFCL but not of RIFC which has the side effect of not having to comply with the obligations and responsibilities of being a director of a listed company. It certainly looks as though he is a de facto shadow director. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest it was to be revealed that he's creaming a 5 or even 10% cut of all our commercial deals on top of his £350k + bonuses + expenses remuneration package. -
If the CVA was successful Whyte wouldn't have been shafted at all quite the opposite, it was the failure of the CVA and the undoubted connivance of D&P that permitted the shafting of Whyte.
-
Irrespective if you hate them or not they have the right to voice their opinion how they see fit within the boundaries of the law in exactly the same manner as anyone else.
-
If Sevco 5088 was a decoy then the CVA proposal and exclusive and binding agreement was for all intents and purposes fraudulent. Whyte was in control of the situation from the day he arrived at the club till the moment D&P and Green & Co shafted him. Forget all the bullshit about having to string Whyte along to get his shares there simply wasn't any need to do so as Sevco 5088 always had them. "You are Sevco."

Do you not realise it is the job of the non-executives to hold the executive to account that's one of their main raison d'etre . Ahmad is not entitled to a vote anyway because he's not a director of the plc. -
Free speech is a noble notion till you disagree with what's said eh? You were fortunate enough to find a vehicle for your pro-Green views the other day yet you begrudge others the same privilege....
-
I used to share that particular opinion but now I have more faith in plod.

Indeed it was.

Nothing but an exclusive and binding agreement to purchase the assets for £5.5m according to Duff & Phelps.
-
Yes, procrastination and prevarication served us so well not so long ago.
-
Perhaps he's been foolish enough to sign blank forms and entrusted them to Whyte.
-
I guess that's a question that will no doubt be answered by M'learned friends in due course.

You do realise it's that recapitalisation that forms the basis of the claim brought against Collyer Bristow? -

Paul Murray had arranged an underwritten £25m for a re-capitalisation of RFC plc. I'm not convinced that the IPO raised £22m of actual cash (though concede it may well have done). -
Sevco 5088 had an exclusive and binding agreement with D&P to buy RFC via a CVA or the assets of RFC via an asset sale. They sold the assets to an entirely different company Sevco Scotland which appears to have no right to obtain them. It appears D&P and Green & Co thought they had out flanked Craig Whyte, what we're seeing now is the fruits of the seeds they sowed.

No he was doing quite the opposite along with his fellow directors save Muir and McGill. -

You have to look at the Martin Bain era as two distinct periods, the first period where he was basically Murray's lapdog does I concede appear rather lamentable but the second period when he left Murray's lap was much more befitting of someone holding the position of CEO at Rangers. -

Irrespective of whether you're pro-Green or anti-Green surely what should matter most is what's best for Rangers we've reached the stage now where it's in both parties interests that we part company. Anybody thinking this is the last shot of the dice from Whyte is mistaken there will be plenty more where today's revelations came from and will be drip fed ad nauseum to the detriment of the club.
