A new ownership battle - an impossible situation?
forlanssister replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Looks like they started raising the funds for it a month ago, long before Green's actual resignation. The "institutional" investors all provide private client services including nominee services which would hide true ownership. -

He isn't off the board yet though is he ? So much for his lock in agreement (as I predicted in the prospectus review). -

Simple, you ask the appropriate authorities for permission not to have to make a full offer if you hit the 30%, Whyte got a dispensation when he bought Murray's shares, Desmond got one for the scum, not at all uncommon. -

Yes, but you can obtain a dispensation from that rule. -

The wheels of justice turn slowly. They are being investigated by their own regulatory body over a possible conflict of interest. Lord Hodge reminded them that even though the liquidators had been appointed he still held jurisdiction over Duff & Phelps. Their actions will be reviewed as part of the duties of BDO. The part they played in both the Whyte takeover and the Green takeover is being investigated by the police. Way too early in the process to hold them up as paragons of virtue. -
Definitely a whooooooooooooooosh moment then.

Was that a whooooooooooosh moment?

I suppose it was inevitable but a few seconds googling reveals that Allenby Capital the company formed and formerly ran by one Imran Ahmed have a history of working together. http://www.thelawyer.com/news-and-analysis/practice-areas/banking-and-finance/appleby-acts-as-counsel-on-camkids-share-issuance/3000784.article http://www.growthcompany.co.uk/company-profiles/m/1650878/moneyswap.thtml http://lt.hemscott.com/SSB/tiles/company-data/company-overview/advisers.jsp?epic=SER&market=LSE http://www.led-intl.com/?p=p_76&sName=Advisers So we have an accountants firm with a history of working with Charles Green and a firm of lawyers with a history of working with Imran Ahmad carrying out an "independent" investigation into the conduct of Green and Ahmad. Any bookies giving odds on either a not guilty or not proven?

You don't need to be profitable in order to pay dividends.
-
Gordon Brown's !
-
Every time one of the former directors are interviewed they never pass up the opportunity to call for an investigation into the conduct of Donald Muir, Paul Murray virtually opened with that on Sportsound on Saturday. Donald Muir applied to dissolve his cash rich company Titanium Advisory Services Limited a matter of days after the sale of RFC plc, of course the voluntary dissolution means he didn't have to publish accounts for the period in which RFC plc was sold, a nice way to hide your 30 pieces of silver eh?

When are you going to accept there never was any deal to be done between Green and Whyte in regards to Whyte's shareholding because there didn't need to be one because we know Green & Co were acting as front men for Whyte. Green obtained an exclusive and binding agreement to purchase Rangers by fraudulent means. "You are Sevco that's what we are saying."
-
Is that one of those lies which if you hear often enough you actually start to believe?
-
Supporters put the money into the club whilst Green has merely taken it out from day one despite the "I'm not getting paid lie."
-
We didn't "make" £22m in a share issue we raised it a fundamental difference in the world of business.
-
Only because of the actions of that super astute world class businessman Charles Green yet some think he should be beatified !
-
There is no great conspiracy merely a perfect storm of thieving bastards wanting their share of what's ours.
-
"Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they ain't out to get you!"
-
Would that be internal debt or external debt?
-
As the saying goes, "Even dead cats bounce".
-
So you're arguing that we couldn't be by your very own definition successful under the plan of Green & Co ?
