  1. No because Murray.Smith and Hart are non-executive and have different amounts of remuneration.
  2. Exposed to who? Everyone and their dog knows there are two factions on the board and that Mather's and Stockbridge are in the Green/Ahmad/Zeus camp.
  3. McCoist got his 1,000,000 shares for a penny a pop and got 71,429 (£50k's worth)in the IPO as did Malcolm Murray,Ian Hart,Walter Smith,Charles Green and Brian Stockbridge, it is unclear what if anything they paid for the 71,429 but given Ahmad's absence from that list they may just have paid for them.
  4. So according to you McCoist is our biggest shareholder......:roflmao:
  5. Go back two years and you were claiming all anybody had against Whyte was "conjecture or assumption" too, weren't you?
  6. I believe that may well have been King's reaction when Ahmad called him whilst whoring his shares all round the globe in fact I'd hazard a guess that's most peoples reaction when they hear the price Ahmad wants.
  7. Green, Ahmad et al certainly take him seriously,
  8. .....You are indeed correct. Have heard the story first hand umpteen times too..... Thing is I actually googled it first because I wasn't certain and found this http://loyalonline.50webs.com/Barcelona_72.htm Apologies to the original poster!
  9. Can't believe the article misses out the most bizarre coin tossing incident of all time when we played Sporting Lisbon en route to Barcelona.
  10. They called the Ticketus deal early enough but Whyte's denial was enough to placate the see, speak, hear no evil brigade. It was Mark Daly in whatever way you look at it a stunning piece of investigative journalism revealed Whyte's ban as a director despite the fact that all official record of the ban having been expunged on it;s expiry and the court records sealed by the High Court, the result of which was a chorus of hurrahs when Whyte banned the BBC for exposing him. It was hardly innuendo more a case of saying things that people just didn't want to hear and it's easy enough to separate the wheat from the chaff if you're willing enough to try and research the facts for yourself.
  11. Azure put up the money to refurbish the catering outlets as they didn't meet the latest Health & Safety criteria in return for this their contract was extended, Whyte then borrowed from Close Leasing using the income from catering as security, until the Close Leasing deal expires then the actual cash the club makes out of the catering contract is peanuts. The JJB deal by accident rather than design turned out to be an outstanding deal in terms of net cash to the club in fact we'll struggle to match it from the Sports Direct joint venture. Whilst our turnover has plummeted (like yourself I doubt it will be below £20m) our costs with the exception of player wages hasn't followed suit. Season and match tickets are a lot lower price than they were in the SPL and I'm not convinced it was the wisest decision from a business standpoint not to increase them this season.
  12. Oh the irony! Take a look back at your posts during Whyte's tenure you were his staunchest defender till the bitter end constantly blaming the media and others who were exposing Whyte's deeds. He who is without sin and all that eh!
  13. Take VAT off the ticket sales, pay Close Brothers the lease fee for the catering money they hold security over, while merchandising might raise £3m this coming season it'll have made nowhere near that last season. Corporate hospitality income was decimated last season for example the Ibrox Suite was closed the whole season apart when 2 RSC's hired it it was only opened a handful of times for wheelchair users and it would have been very lucky to break even on those occasions . Advertising and sponsorship would have been well short of £5m as we couldn't even sell the prime spots in front of Bar 72. Most of the car park income is already counted in with the hospitality plus there are the freebies wheelchair fans, journalists et al which all adds up, I doubt income from streaming the games or Rangers TV would be anywhere near cash positive at present. We are paying the price for Green's complete lack of anything remotely looking like a business plan and one of the first places we should be looking at to cut costs is the utterly ridiculous level of remuneration within the board room. The prospectus virtually told us that we would need to be recapitalised 18 months after the IPO. We have a long way to go before we have cut our cloth accordingly and whether we like it or not it may well get painfull. Let's just hope those holding power in the boardroom put their squabbles to the side and put the long term health of the club above all else.
  14. C'mon gunslinger nip down to the garage and post page 6
  15. Did it and confirmed my own ignorance on non European football.....
  16. The official site is extremely poor in when it comes to deleting pages for no apparent reason perhaps it's in need of some new blood. Anyway here's the relevant passage from the prospectus. Full pdf here
  17. It was an overnight loan of £50k from Stockbridge that's how short of cash they were, so how could they have paid all these players. If you want confirmation then read the prospectus.
  18. Hearing good things about him only hope the players have the wit to listen to him.
  19. Strange story for the Record to run especially when they're sitting on much more damaging stuff in relation to Stockbridge,
  20. Excellent article from Ian Nicol 32 players. Thatâ??s how many we currently have in our squad, even after removing players with expiring contracts, Goian and Bocanegra. Thatâ??s how many we had when our manager, Ally McCoist, told us again today that we need more â??bodiesâ?. Not players â?? â??bodiesâ?. (I suppose thatâ??s about all you can describe Craig Gordon and Andy Webster as, but thatâ??s probably another discussion for another article.) Last season, it was widely reported our annual wage bill was somewhere in the region of £7.5m. Now, comparing that to Rangers sides of the past, that seems relatively low. Compare it to our opponents, every other team out with Celtic in Scotland and our current level of income, however, and you see the true picture: - financial lunacy. With the upheaval and uncertainty of last summer, a bit of leeway can be given to the club, but only on the presumption that weâ??ll get things right next time around. Click for the rest......
  21. I think it's just indicative of the general incompetent manner in which we were being ran at the time. Be interesting to know what Moyes made off of the Jelavic deal and just who paid what to who and what about the rather blatantly obvious conflict of interest.
  22. We can't afford not to invest in a decent scouting system, it's a huge false economy not too. There's only so many ex-players we can sign before that well dries up and as much as I like Ricky Foster he will not make the difference between us being promoted or not.
  23. Can't help but think that some of the cash we're currently splashing would be better spent trying to create a scouting system worthy of the name.
