Dave King blasts Rangers chief executive Graham Wallace
forlanssister replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I would expect any attempt to be vehemently opposed but you must remember that this is their day jobs it's what they do for a living they want to extract maximum value and it simply doesn't matter to them how that goal is achieved.- 72 replies

Keith Jackson: Time has come for Dave King to prove his worth
forlanssister replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Been told to expect renewal forms a lot earlier a lot earlier than is the norm so there may just be some sort of overlap. This is something that cannot be rushed as there will only be one shot to get ut right, it has to be at arms length enough from the club to be seen as independent from the club yet at the same time be close enough to the club as to have some influence that's not an easy balance to strike. We really need such a scheme to work and work well. -

Expect him to get his pockets filled.

Laxey initially stated they would vote for what the fans wanted at the AGM everybody wondered why now it's crystal clear. The board were knocked back by every conventional and even non-conventional lender (Bibby etc.) they approached.
-
They needed money because they expected Imran to win his case.
-
Me neither it's a term still used virtually everyday up hereanyway!
-
His Linkedin states he left Man City in March 2013 and joined Rangers in November 2013. Absolutely he did, he was well warned what to expect and initially told his friends he'd knocked it back.
-
It's irrelevant whether he actually thinks it is or not as he's put his name to stating it is. I doubt he was outvoted as there isn't really any need for a vote when playing a game of Sandy Says. Indeed.
-
We're not seeing it because it's not happening, him having any power whatsoever was never in the job description. No conventional CEO would ever have agreed that the Laxey deal could ever be the best option let aone is the best option.
-
No iirc he was unemployed for circa 8 months. Everyman and his dog knows Sandy Easdale is running the show but the fact remains Wallace is happy and content to indulge in the charade for £6k per week.
-
Wallace knew exactly what he was getting to he alone is responsible for for his current position but hey £6k per week with an inevitable £300k pay off seems worth more to him than his reputation.

How many of those accounts are MediaHouse ones?

More, pray tell? I must have missed the pledge where everyone agreed to give them 120 days eh? You seriously saying spunking away over £22m is not a pretty de-stabilising and damaging thing to do to Rangers Football Club? We had over £10m in the bank when that well renowned business guru James Easdale joined the board. Refeusing to believe Jack Irvine's and McMurdo's bullshit propaganda does not constitute a witch hunt.
-
When the Rangers Football Club plc entered administration Dave King held over 5% of the shares that is a fact is it not? Oh it's company now is it not club?....
-
You bought a bit ergo King bought a bit many thousands of times bigger then? He held shares in the Rangers Football Club plc when it entered administration exactly the same as you, me and circa 26,000 others....
-
Do you just come here to troll when you're bored with trolling at RM?
-
You saying we are not the same club Dave King invested £20m in?
-
Doubt it that would have meant a spread of over 30%.
-
If it is a condition of the operating licence for the stadium to have the parking spaces then it becomes a very powerful ace to hold up your sleeve worth far more than £1m under those circumstances.
-
Could be they register the opening and closing prices only.

Prior paid 54p for his first tranche iirc, Laxey £1 for theirs neither deal looks too clever even when you factor in Laxey getting Green to hand over "free" shares to reduce the effective price paid to 70p. Laxey just guaranteed themselves more shares at a maximum price of 26.5p why should anyone let alone King pay more than 26.5p The "rock bottom" was Richard Hughes dumping his @ 20.5p
