Especially if they have an effective tax credit of 21p a share Point to ponder too is that some of the "institutions" would just have been a front for their private clients. Some have already taken a hit at what point does the snowball turn into an avalanche.

I'm not convinced all the institutions will take up their rights. I think there may be movement in some of the larger stakes pre any rights issue. If the new shares are at a deep enough discount I suspect some may sell their rights in the market to pocket a little cash. Not everyone will pound cost average some may bail.

For those doubting the validity of the request to view Sandy Easdale and Imran Ahmads Directors Service Contracts: Scroll down to Chapter 5 http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/46/pdfs/ukpga_20060046_en.pdf
-
For clarity the request at Ibrox was to view the Directors Service Contracts of Graham Wallace, David Somers, Norman Crighton, James Easdale, Charles Green, Craig Mather and Brian Stockbridge. Subsequently a request was made in writing for a copy of the contracts of the Directors above and also those of Sandy Easdale and Imran Ahmad.
-
No appointment is necessary according to the relevant legislation. The Companies Act provides the option to ask the company for a copy and for that copy to be furnished within 7 days.
-
The contracts have not been made available at all yet.
-
As shareholders we have no legal right to know the terms of his contract that is not the case in regards to Directors contracts though.
-
Claiming he went to the papers is both a downright lie and a libel. It is not an accusation it is a fact that the law was broken the minute he was refused an inspection of the contracts on the spurious excuse of "legal advice" it cannot now be unbroken.
-
You may want to heed the advice given to der Berliner in post #16 Utter nonsense them breaking the law then eh?
-
Of course he can read post #21

Then not for the first you're inhabiting a parallel universe.

The Companies Act 2006 Chapter 5 go read then lay down in a darkened room. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/46/pdfs/ukpga_20060046_en.pdf This "guy" was just trying to exercise his legal rights as a member of the company no more, no less. The more you post the more you appear to nothing more than a parody account.
-
You may well wish to avail yourself of the facts before you libel someone rather than after the fact.

Did the Finance Director even see them given how little he ever knew about our true financial position?

The one thing MM should be blamed for was giving Charles Green a legitimacy he simply never merited.
