It's purely a matter of personal choice, I have absolutely no problem with anyone renewing and I most certainly wouldn't criticise anyone who does. Like others I remain sceptical whether Ibrox 1972 Ltd will achieve it's stated aim but in all wars (and sadly that's basically the situation we're in) losing a battle doesn't mean you'll lose the war. As I stated I think the Board would do well to read it, it's a far tougher challenge to regain lost customers than it is to keep them.

I'd rather the business was run in a professional competent manner something which despite claims to the contrary plainly isn't happening at present.

No one is obliged to purchase a season ticket, if your customers are patently dissatisfied most businesses would engage with their customers to try to rectify matters not alienate them further. The Board would do well to read your first paragraph.

Not what they told the court the other day.

The Letter Before Claim has tremendous nuisance value whatever their 'endgame' is if it does indeed involve a transfer or sale of assets then it causes an impediment for all but the brave or foolish.
-
It's bound to have an effect irrespective of how spurious the claim is.

I remain to be convinced that they can actually achieve the level of cuts necessary without harming the income stream that particular ship sailed some time ago.

Alasdair Lamont @BBCAlLamont 20m Having bought 35,000 Rangers shares yesterday, chairman David Somers buys another 12,000 today. Meanwhile share price is creeping back up. -
Some investors may well come out stronger (which may not be as bad as it sounds) however even if they did go ahead with a rights issue for the 43m shares all that would achieve is a few more months grace before the excrement would once again collide with a rotating cooling device.

I think it's nothing more than an attempt to give an impression of confidence that had an added bonus of boosting the price in a market with thin volume, it wouldn't be a shock to see other directors making similar purchases in the days/weeks ahead. -
None of our guys renewed yet, one signed up to Ibrox 1972 most still uncertain what to do but vast majority looking at game to game, Category A club.

Wallace will be nearer £700k all in. Targets you jest surely?
-
Bain was running a club with a £68m turnover not £17m and in any case if Wallace gets his full bonus then he'll have a greater remuneration than Bain ever got.
-
With Wallace it's a case of physician heel thyself surely?
-
Green 5m penny shares which he didn't even have the good grace to pay for and had to be deducted from his pay off Ahmad 2.2m penny shares plus his £50k arrangement fee Richard Hughes 2.2m penny shares plus his loan facility which netted him £50k per week for circa 9 weeks BPH 4m penny shares MFHT 2.6m penny shares etc.etc.etc
-
It was never necessary to spunk £70m to get promoted from the fourth and third tiers of Scottish football.
-
The CEO of Man City collects £200k less than Wallace stands to trouser for a year. Of course I'm saying they're blatantly overpaid as is the manager and a whole host of others too.
-
Aye but a third party would probably be holding the batteries as security.
-
And got every penny back.
-
I did but going by my own personal experience if they told me it was dark I'd have to go outside and check for myself.
-
Three out of the four have been paid by RIFC although it appears one has refunded their monies. Pay me £10k for a month or part thereof for two months then £5k a month thereafter for 1-2 days per month and I'd easily bung £8400 towards some shares too.
-
The main difference is nobody has laid a letter before claim upon them, and the auditors don't mention either a contingent liability or emphasis of matter regarding them in the account. The principle is the same the board are willing to give security over assets when it suits them.

Would be more symbolic if Wallace bought than Somers but it is indeed mildly symbolic.
