You may well see one of the six at best. They most certainly were inaccurate, they stated there was a £2.5m unsecured credit facility without that it's doubtful they would have achieved going concern status. The director who signed off the accounts did not give the auditors the full information regarding the share options from which he surprise, surprise personally benefited from. The auditors failed to notice the inclusion of share options in the IPO prospectus and the contracts of Stockbridge,Mather, Green and perhaps even others. Even the RNS issued regarding Stockbridge's options was false as Green and Mather have contractual rights to share options and Wallace can receive his 100% bonus in shares if he so wishes, once again the price is undisclosed, a penny a pop would be a pretty accurate estimate I guess. Somers will receive what he calls and I quote "paltry" £70k plus all reasonable expenses per annum for his contracted 1-2 days per month, falling to £60k per annum after his first year by virtue of the fact his two months were at £10k per month falling to £5k per month from January. Crighton is on £40k per annum plus all reasonable expenses for doing the bidding of Laxey. James Easdale allegedly receives nothing, however his contract states £50k per annum plus all reasonable expenses. He was in fact drawing a salary from day one but apparently decided better of it and a rather peculiar addendum to his contract states his attention to repay it. Gary Ralston wrote that he repaid circa £12.6k but Rangers did not supply me with proof of repayment. Sandy Easdale allegedly receives nothing too but like his brother his contract states £50k plus all reasonable expenses, again there is a rather bizarre addendum to his contract which basically says, 'we haven't got Sandy's bank details for payment but it's ok he doesn't want anything anyway.' I assume everybody knows the details of Wallace's contract which will probably cost the club the fatter part of £1m per year if not more. I don't have the details of Philip Nash's contract but am led to believe it like the rest is lucrative. If he was serious he'd start with his own extremely onerous contract. Deferral rather than cut I'm led to believe. We may well see a difference but don't believe the one offs and pay offs will vanish they'll simply be replaced by others of the same ilk. Agreed living beyond our means has to stop but I see no signs of or serious attempts at doing so.

Ally McCoist and Rangers: Time for some home truths
forlanssister replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
The preparation of the team is the sole remit of the management. McCoist knew months in advance that in all probability we would face a team well into their season and did absolutely nothing to counteract that against the express advice of the then fitness coach. My recollection is Malmo scored more than us and I have the same recollection of Maribor having had the misfortune to witness every minute of those 4 games in the flesh so to speak. Criticising those who cricticise McCoiist for his culpability in the disasters that were Malmo and Maribor, now that's overly harsh. -

Jesus wept. I've never seen any Rangers side so unprepared as the those who faced Malmo, no amount of nonsensical revisionism can alter that. -
Somers speaks with a forked tongue. Graham Wallace receives a £25k wage increase as soon as we qualify for European football and given his bonus is 100% of basic wage he is entitled to a £25k bonus on top of the £25k wage increase. As soon as we're in the SPFL and in Europe Graham Wallace will cost us the very minimum of an additional £50k and in all probability an additional £100k per annum. When are you going to tackle that extremely onerous contract Graham?

If only McCoist was as astute at football management as he is at realpolitik. -
Just another part of the plan to rehabilitate Murray in the eyes of the Rangers fans. Expect more of this stuff over the coming months along with some attempts to pull the heartstrings.

Champions League prices for second tier Scottish fayre that'll drag the punters in. A crude attempt to boost season ticket sales which will probably backfire. In all probability they'd be as well closing the Club Deck for most games this coming season.

Plenty of people were reporting/posting facts on Whyte's deeds at the time, you chose to ignore to ignore everything that portrayed Whyte in a negative light and backed Whyte to the hilt. See your own posting history for the proof.

Do you remember how successful we were in the early eighties? That's a period of our history that simply cannot afford to repeated.

I don't think a tournament is even necessary. Two home preseason games against half decent clubs should be enough to harvest a 7 figure sum even in our present state that should be achievable.

The value to Man City will simply be the same as every other club playing preseason friendlies, they play Hearts the following Friday. You'd do well to find a harsher critic of the board than me but the lack of an elite team at Ibrox for a preseason friendly this year is not an error of their making. The notion that even in our present diminished state we couldn't attract an elite team to Ibrox for a preseason friendly is simply ludicrous as the two examples above demonstrate.

I see no reason why not. I assume Manchester City would meet your elite criteria who are they about to play?

We can't host pre-season friendlies at this time anyway because of the Commonwealth Games.

The boards backing of McCoist suits their short termism, if they really think that McCoist is the long term solution then surely you agree with those who think they are unfit for the purpose?
