  1. Was a pleasure to be able to assist three generations of Bears along with the winner of the Eurovision Song contest.
  2. Not that unusual of late, don't be surprised if they go for pay at the gate for the Copland Rear as they're apt to do on occasion either. I'll go out on a limb and state I doubt they'll be flogging Rising Stars too!
  3. If that's good enough for the Directors then it's good enough for gunslinger!
  4. Oh I'm sure you know. Wealthy Rangers fans are not the only ones you hold in contempt eh?
  5. Tell me you're not actually that naive that you think it was set up to hold the security over Ibrox.....
  6. Ya think? I'm pretty sure 1972 Ltd served the purpose for which it was set up.
  7. There is no legal impediment that prevents the board from issuing a statement to the Stock Exchange stating that they aren't going to sell, sale and leaseback or use as security either Ibrox, Murray Park or both but feel free to prove otherwise. Give one reason as to why any fan should trust any member of the board.
  8. You could always try practicing what you preach, just saying like!
  9. Wasn't being pedantic (this time round anyway!) merely pointing out that nobody knows exactly how many shares would actually be available and you can't hold a rights issue till everyone knows what their rights are can you?
  10. Somehow I don't think people will be battering down the doors to enlist. As regards the discounts you used to get a booklet of vouchers for much and such the same in along with your season ticket renewal confirmation letter anyway.
  11. Depends how you define "we". The present incumbents and shareholders would have nothing to gain from taking such a course and don't have the cash to do so. Previously we were for all intents and purposes 80 odd % owned by HBOS who most certainly don't want their part in what happened remotely exposed. I suppose in theory BDO could use this option but in all probability won't and I imagine the creditors wouldn't take too kindly to a reduction in any potential dividend anyway.
  12. Agreement predated Whyte's tenure by a mere 4 years. http://www.scribd.com/doc/226416841/Venues-Agreement
  13. Nothing to worry about, iirc it's because of a grant received at the time of build and has always been in place. Think Kelvinside Academy War Memorial Trust hols a similar charge.
  14. Running costs are too high and cuts need to be made simply because of the board's (in all its' various disguises) total ineptitude in running the clubs affairs. It may have escaped your notice but one of the board and de facto CEO is in fact a convicted fraudster and nothing can alter that.
  15. Not quite as you have to subtract the shares Stockbridge got, the shares Green, Mather and God knows who else are "entitled" to, also Wallace can receive his all or part of his bonus in shares.
  16. That is utter guff, 30 June 2013 we had £11.2m cash in the bank and went on to sell 36k season tickets yet come February is it wasn't for emergency loans we'd have been technically insolvent. You don't need a masters degree in economics to see what's coming this season.
  17. It will be one of their signatures on the bill of sale not any of ours.
  18. Or hold a fire sale of assets, well at least the ones you didn't grant security over half way through last season when season ticket sales were 36k.
  19. You're really clutching at straws now, their budget has been blown to f*&k by the non renewal of season tickets that's crystal clear. The 36k figure is the one given by the board when bigging themselves up, the mid season ones will have been 2k at most. I doubt Deloittes will provide them such leeway to make such bold assumptions in the next going concern statement. If my business's main revenue source fell by such a percentage me and by bank managers would be bricking it as would most others.
  20. From the same six month accounts. Whatever way you want to dress it up sub 30k is disastrous when you've budgeted for a "modest" increase on 36k.
  21. They budgeted for an increase in season ticket sales.
  22. 1) They got greedy, pure and simple. 2) They got greedy, pure and simple.
  23. Do they not realise that every time they come out and state that Ibrox is not for sale, leaseback whatever that more and more people become convinced that Murray Park/Auchenhowie is a goner?
