A lot of people going to get their fingers burned with Worthington Group. The Merchant House Group will seem like bastions of probity in comparison.

The "buys" and "sells" attributed to trades are not always 100% accurate. Though it probably is in this case.

We all agree on the destination but not on either the route or the vehicle necessary. -

My reason for standing has been made abundantly clear. Obviously the majority of fans who voted have a different opinion to yourself as is their right. -

I didn't call a group of people arseholes though did I? -
Rab, I agree with you regarding HBOS/LBG where we differ is the personnel involved. Muir still sits on the board of The Premier Property Group which is the albatross round Murray Groups neck (or even HBOS/LBG's).
-
He was HBOS go to man when they required a firefighter they still use him yet. He was heavily "incentivised" to get Rangers off their hands. As a shareholder of both HBOS/LBG and RFC plc I'd like to see a full inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the sale. Imagine for a second the "sale" to Whyte did not proceed and we just ambled along as we were, reducing the debt winning our share of trophies getting to the occasional CL group stages and having had 2 positive results in the Big Tax Case, how much then for the near 90% shareholding in RFC plc? What occurred was the best possible outcome for Donald Muir but certainly not for the shareholders of RFC plc and HBOS/LBG.
-
You keep missing out the obvious Rab, just follow the money. Who stood to personally profit from the sale to Whyte? The Rangers tie wearing Donald Muir who just a matter of days after our "sale" moved to liquidate his own extremely cash rich service company which had the nice little side effect of hiding the amount of his ill gotten gains.

I've no intention of contacting any candidates at all before the meeting. I see it's moved from accusing Reverend McQuarrie of bias to implying untoward intentions by any of the candidates, what next? You've already admirably proven that you'll read whatever you want into whatever someone posts. -

That is for the other candidates to decide is it not? I'm not implicating the Rev McQuarrie in f*&k all. -

Yes, show where the f*&k I have accused him of bias in any shape or form. -

I'll wait till Monday to speak to him but don't see the need to post it on the internet for all to see. I don't doubt that for a second. Indeed, he is however overseeing the process. I don't doubt the Reverend's suitability for so much as a single second and I certainly am not accusing him of bias in any shape or form, frankly I'm at a loss as how anyone in their right mind could possibly think that. -

Perhaps but given that he's chairing the meeting at which the Office Bearers will be appointed (I'm not standing for any of the positions) would it not have been the wiser option to refrain till after that event in case it could be perceived as potentially gaining an advantage by other prospective candidates. -

As far as I'm aware that is correct. -
The situation regarding the Assembly is complicated by the fact that the RFFF monies are held in the Assembly bank account.

The Chairman of the Rangers Disabled Supports Club who's also the Treasurer of the Assembly was the other candidate in the disabled category. -

Why did you feel the need to contact the Chair of the meeting that will be held to decide the Office Bearers, I won't be submitting for office but if I was I'd certainly question the wisdom of contacting the Chair prior to the meeting, of course that assumes you would be standing for office. -
Is it known if the required number has been reached? Laxey once set up 100 different companies just so they could use the particular piece of legislation that allows these motions, it was in connection with Alliance Trust.
