  1. Could line up with 5 at the back a la Old Trafford than 5 in midfield or even opt for Levein's 5-5-0!
  2. We should know better when (or perhaps just if) more notices are posted because given the size of some of the transactions in the past week or so chances are a notifiable holder has pass a threshold.
  3. I don't think SD paid so much as a single penny for the contract. SD control every single aspect of RR it is they who are withholding payment. there is no benefit to them in releasing the monies due to Rangers in fact it;s beneficial to SD not to. As to any issue between Green and Ashley, could be something along these lines..... http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/article-1201513/Mike-Ashley-gets-tough-loan-competitor-Sir-David-Jones.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/5803443/Sir-David-Jones-cries-foul-over-Ashley-loan-saga.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/10780039/Trial-of-former-JJB-chairman-Sir-David-Jones-abandoned.html In tale of the demise of JJB Ashley may well have played a bigger part than that of just a normal competitor. http://news.sky.com/story/688275/wigan-boss-whelan-hits-out-over-jjb-woes http://www.theguardian.com/business/2012/apr/04/chris-ronnie-jjb-serious-fraud-office http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/analysis-and-features/tragic-finale-for-jjb-the-retail-soap-opera-8168298.html http://moneyweek.com/profile-mike-ashley-secretive-retail-kingpin-44535/ As you can see Ashley looks to be by far the smartest character in the sorry saga of Rangers and has a history of playing the long game.
  4. Have a greater chance getting your wish granted if you wrote to Santa..
  5. Each passing week we drift further and further away from the Rangers I grew up knowing and loving.
  6. There are always tickets for sale at away games no matter how small an allocation we get. I traveled with a spare last week but don't have one for tomorrow.
  7. It's gutting but not surprising as those within the boardroom (in all it's various incarnations) have been paying the same Toxic PR company to play divide and conquer for years and years.
  8. His profit. Still owns 20% of the company. Had to laugh at this little gem.... I doubt if was a great achievement than his 2.2m penny shares in Rangers for £22k . Or this staggering 441% interest dressed up as an arrangement fee on a loan that was probably never advanced
  9. I concur. If only it were that simple!
  10. In another of those weird and wonderful co-incidences in the world of Rangers Brian Kennedy made £32m selling shares in a company called Entu on Wedenesday. It was floated by Zeus Capital.
  11. Nothing to do with Chinese stock market as the shares are only listed on AIM. AIM rules and UK law applies. I'd like to think so but I'm far from convinced it would. Though it should get you over 50%.
  12. Voltaire never said that, it was Evelyn Beatrice Hall. Pedantic Loyal.....
  13. Roughly £8,250,000 but you would never ever harvest 51% of the shares for that price.
  14. I wasn't aware of it being discussed by the fans board. The UoF are Rangers fans and well within their rights to say and do as they see fit in just the same way as any Rangers fan is.
  15. Surely to f*&k this will be challenged by shareholders as it is against the interests of every shareholder except Ashley and those associated with him.
  16. Ah yes Ye Olde he can only make money if we're successful, heard that one a few times now!
  17. No surprise there. I'm sure the board/s, their "consultants and puppet masters will still have plenty vehicles spreading the male bovine excrement.
  18. IIRC it's only the removal of pre-emption rights that needs 75%, as Ashley is underwriting the rights issue he has no need for the removal of pre-emption rights as he automatically picks up any unused rights.
