Charlie Telfer Decision Reached by Tribunal
forlanssister replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I raised that very point at the RFB meeting and was categorically told that was not the case. -

No, he had no choice but to coach the best of what he had, how novel a concept eh? -
Norman Crighton leaves board with immediate effect
forlanssister replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
Careful now, no one on the RFB voted AH off it was purely a Rangers decision. -

He seems to be doing a decent enough job without spending money, who knows perhaps he'd rather Hearts invested in their youth system than spunk it on overpaid over the hill journeymen like some other managers. Hearts appear to have a long term plan in place whereas we can't even see past f*&king Christmas. -

9 players under 22 against 9 over 29 in a starting line up tells its own story. -

Last I looked a good few of the Hearts youngsters were sitting 9 points clear at the top of the Championship. -
Certainly not afraid of being sued and confirms what we already knew!

Rumour of a Far East buyer at the end of season has been going round for a while, reason for the wait till end of season was because the buyer wanted to know for certain which division they would be playing in next season and of course the subsequent price would depend on which division. .....and no I don't think any sale of Newcastle means he'll buy and pump the necessary millions into us. So stick me in the 1/2 shite column.

I don't foresee it causing him any more problems than it causes Sandy Easdale.

I think it's even worse than many fear. Ultimately Ashley will do what's best for SD and if he concludes that SD cannot extract value from the shambles then he'll look for someone to parly with most probably King. Nobody even King would comprehend investing until they break 50% + controlled by Greenco, forget the Easdale circa 26% proxy that's a red herring that serves a purpose. Of course given his wealth Ashley can effectively do what he wants and may decide there's a massive opportunity at Rangers if they were properly run and funded but whether he thinks it's worth his time and treasure to do so only he and his closest lieutenants will know.

Most of us have been there at some point or other. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone! With hindsight I think I'd have probably have preferred an afternoon on the sauce than endure that 90 minutes v Cowdenbeath.

Just back. Good to put some faces to names and see some old faces. Thanks to BH, Malaga Tapas and the various GerNetters for the convivial evening.

That would be the logical way to proceed, alas there seems to be little logic involved in Rangers affairs.
-
It remains to be seen exactly how King has played his hand, but we are for all intents and purposes we are hostage to the whims of Mike Ashley who can effectively do what he likes irrespective of us, Dave King and even Uncle Tom Cobbley.

As long as they have shareholder approval there is no limit to the amount of shares a company can issue.

In some cases it will be!

Last nights result is the most humiliating in our clubs history?

...and McCoist will still be absolutely shite at football management. -

Sad thing is as I left the ground I didn't feel shocked, didn't feel mad just felt resigned to our fate. I feel now we're in a far worse place than we were even under Whyte and under administration. -

We are in the process of becoming a virtual football club with virtually all functions of importance being outsourced to Sports Direct/Newcastle United. Not a Rangers minded person in anything other than a junior position.
