  1. Lots of rumours flying round at the moment. Somer's going, shares suspended, we're broke etc....etc I'd say things are very, very fluid. We'll just have to wait to see the notices and the reactions and the counter reactions etc....etc.
  2. Don't think there's an actual requirement for the RNS's reflecting that to be filed tomorrow.
  3. Because if you wish to stop people increasing their holdings suspending the shares is the perfect way to do it. There are various ways to get the shares suspended.
  4. Some truth and some spin mixed together. Perhaps a more subtle leak than what we normally see.
  5. IMHO it will take some years to reach the point where we're stable enough to even contemplate what you say. The fans groups will have to build their holdings over many, many years. You will have to prove to the wider fan base you can be trusted (don't take that the wrong way) and I reckon you'll need at least 25% before you're in a position to do that. I don't have no great objection to the principle but at present none of the existing vehicles work for me personally.
  6. You need to walk before you can run. If the fans groups have 5% in 3 years time they'll be doing well enough.
  7. They only paid 1p per share so they're on looking at a return of 20 times their initial investment, looks like a profit to me!
  8. I don't think there is a enough desire in the wider fan base to bring that to fruition, do you? People seem to have forgotten that they've purchased those shares knowing full well that they will have to invest more imminently. I think the fans groups will have to accept a dilution in the short term. Moving forward I think the best they can hope for is something resembling Resolution 9 giving them first dibs though with a much smaller allocation on an annual basis. It's a common power used by lots of companies and renewed annually at the AGM
  9. Assuming they own 30% and the price is 20p then circa £10m
  10. Wonder what part of that article McLaughlin contributed..... Jack tells the world Sandy welcomes the Three Bears and King. Jack tells the BBC "They're a pure concert party an arat...." We've has a concert party for years aka the Easdale Bloc 26% my arse!
  11. Easdales thought blazers would buy them respectability, hasn't quite turned out that way. They turned down King to keep their blazers. They accepted an offer from Ashley so they could keep their blazers and to hell with the cost to the club. They ignored an offer from The Three Bears so they could hold on to their blazers. They gave away our brightest starlet in years so they could keep their blazers. You may see a pattern developing there!
  12. On the contrary their blazers have cost the Club more than any other blazers in history.
  13. Paul Tyrrell ‏@TyrrellPaul 2m2 minutes ago Wonder what the Comical Ali of bloggers, Bill McMurdo, makes of the last 48 hours. time to remove all the Mike Ashley photos in his house?
  14. The percentage of shares in good hands would have been roughly the same if the offer had been accepted, but the health of the Club would have been far better and our brightest star wouldn't have punted just so the Easdale's and Somers get to keep their blazers.
  15. These are better days baby These are better days it's true These are better days Better days are shining through
