    IIRC the 75% threshold only applies if there's a dis-application of pre-emption rights otherwise all that's required is 50% + 1 vote.

    Many of those nominees will hold shares in practically every company there is. When you buy shares nowadays more often than not they will be held in a nominee account unless you specifically request to the contrary.

    Well done to our own govan_derriere for extracting these clarifications. It does question the wisdom of the idiots who write these things when they can so easily be disproved.

    In this regard Sandy Easdale is irrelevant however if the PLC Directors all resign then it falls to the NOMAD to appoint Directors if the departing Directors declined to appoint replacements. Worst case scenario Court would appoint Directors.
