Are we negotiating 2 rounds before qualification?

Hope our friends in Ulster have a great night ....

Still undecided as to what I should do tonight. I have the feeling things will kick off and I really don't fancy being stuck somewhere with the child who's champing at my ear to take her to a bonfire. Alcohol is the only certainty. -
Weir - Free - What a bargain.

Cheers mate, I had July/August in my mind.

It's usually published in the summer, yes? What should we expect from this year's accounts: * Healthy profit from all our European endeavours. * No debt although we could be liable to Whyte's company if the tax thing goes tits up (That's a long way away though). * More money put aside for the tax case * Cash in the bank * First glance to see what Whyte has got rid of. Anymore put them and discuss. I'm thinking this should be the best reading from our annual reports for quite some time.

I think we all expected him to bin several of the board but he is possibly showing signs of inexperience with the public speaking. It does however show signs that he will not let anything go unanswered.

Wonder how long this will drag on for? Let's hope the new regime are quicker with transfer dealings.
-
Definitely needs reading as it seems really well put together. I'll be reading it once I've got the time to do so.

Seems like Whyte is quietly going about his business putting all the pieces of his jigsaw in place. Positive appointments, fixtures being released, signings coming our way, been a while since I felt happy with what's going at the club.

Kirk broadfoot claims he can fill rangers defensive gap

Squad player, nothing more. he has a good attitude but not the right qualities to replace Weir or Bougherra. -
The Pope could be the next president of the SFA and still be labeled as a bigot after making a decision against them.
-
Good luck to them, I really do hope it works out for them.

Finally, an article that doesn't mention odious. Enjoyed that one although I hope he is right and that Whyte really is the real deal for us in The longterm.

Gers To Face Linfield - Saturday July 16

Yeah, I pointed that out to him, he fixed it but I have obviously lifted the first draft. -
Cheers BD. If it is anything like the first one we done last year it will be a success.

If Zappa's mate runs out of tickets, then you can make your own way over and the Old Moat Inn rsc can supply tickets and travel. Edit: my number's on the bottom of the image. -
My RSC are holding a "Night at the riots" and would welcome any bear to the night. There's a few Ulster bears on here that might be interested in coming along. Of course, anyone can come along if you're in Belfast that weekend. [/img]

Where's Bluedell or Craig when you need them. I'm awaiting their opinion's before getting all excited.
-
Was going about for a while, although it is worth posting again.

Spot on mate. It's the safe option but the question remains as to whether he can do it again. I'd like Bartley to partner Bougherra with Weir as back up, however, I feel when Weir does play he will show either one or two of them up giving Ally a healthy selection headache. Whatever happens though I feel Weir will step aside with good grace, definitely no drama!

Quite often in football players tend to be measured in the top 3 bracket. The number really isn't the point, it's more - is there a centre back in Scotland better than Weir?
-
Is it possible to name 3 better centre backs playing in the SPL? I can't think of any.
-
Think that's my understanding of it.
-
Absolutely mate. I also agree that I'd like 2-3 quality players brought in to augment the current starting 11. We have the nucleus of a good side, where one or two bosmans to beef up the squad alongside more established signings would see us in good stead. Like everything in life though, success is not guaranteed.
