Since we are all chipping in I will stick it up on GF so we get maximum exposure. -
Last Chance to Complete the Supporters Direct Scotland Survey
Stimpy replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
Done. I don't see this across any other Rangers forum though, can you expand it so we get a better representation? -
The hun argument goes unnoticed in Scotland. In Belfast you find Loyalist areas with the slogan "kill all taigs". In republican areas you find the slogan "Kill all huns". They're not making reference to Rangers fans, but protestants.

Ex-Rangers director says boardâ??s takeover fears are playing out
Stimpy replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Nope, but very few do anything for nothing in today's worlds. The position of any kind of directorial role within Rangers is worth its weight in gold. Seems to me you're hiding behind semantics or criteria bestowed upon P Murray. He was there for what, 4/5 years? And it took him to the last minute to bid an offer? He had an opportunity to to galvanise the support and didn't until he realised his position was under threat. Why? In his interview, where's the hard facts? His interview is not any better than the rubbish spouted by the blog, Rangers tax Case. Think about it: Murray and his cohorts were responsible for an organisation with tens of thousands of loyal customers. Those loyal customers are never going to walk away like the supermarket consumer. So why do nothing? The actions of the old board marry up their current actions. When on the board they keep quiet and let the fans take an absolute tanking in the media along with the club. when off the board they sue, mouth off and make life even more difficult for Rangers: When in Rome, do as the Romans do. -
Ex-Rangers director says boardâ??s takeover fears are playing out

That's exactly it for me; taking the relativist approach is not good enough. Legally? No. I very much doubt he went without. -

I'd perhaps agree with you had he been so proactive whilst he was collecting his salary. Like the previous regime, he is being obstructive towards the club, like the previous regime he was quiet when shit was hitting the fan. if I was part of an organisation with constant, loyal customers and the bank stepped in because they had no confidence in the board, I would keep my mouth shut. All very timmy-like. -
Would this be due to the tax case then? Not signing it off because we could enter admin? What is yours and BD's opinion on the whole accounts? It doesn't look great but I'm not sure if it's anything to shit our pants over? Would trading well with merchandise, matchday tickets etc be of extreme importance until July?

Jeanette Findlay - IRA supporting scumbag
Stimpy replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
They'll never understand that there's more to Ireland than just the IRA. Nobody ever questions them on why they can't celebrate other parts of Irish culture and why it's just republicanism. -
Rangers FC Group Ltd settles Fyfe Ireland legal bill
Stimpy replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Holding out banana payments? -
Or is he just confused?
-
The police are smashing them without the bill though, hence we don't actually need it as the laws are already there. No?

He may have his faults but I like his gutsy approach to all things septic. So called bigger men have crumbled under pressure.

I see what you are getting dude but I personally feel no threat from them as a changing nation. Minorities always shout the loudest, living in NI for 12 years has proven that and now Scotland is the same. But then, they've possibly always shouted louder since it's only now through the growth of the internet that we see it and hear it more? Scotland's current issues, imo, is that socialists are growing. SNP and all their shit are driving it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Scotland I know it's Wiki, but it's better than most give credit for. Government website: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2005/02/20757/53570 Slightly more Catholics than I thought but my assertion still applies; the Church of Scotland is safe. My old man always says: "The further you go outside of the West Coast the less Catholics you find". I'm also positive that they call Catholics in the Highlands -Catholic highlanders, which alludes to minority.
-
Don't quote me but off the top of my head that was what the last census produced. What I am sure of though is that Catholicism is not a threat to the Church of Scotland. I'll have dig around and see where I'm drawing my assertions from.
-
Think there's about 750,000 catholics, 500,000 other religions and the rest Church of Scotland. Not sure where atheists come in though.

One swallow doesn't make a summer, dude. Long way to go.

Another good article from a bear. Sports journalists, take note. Edit: I like the background pic in your blog.

New blog up - Regan, Stokes and Media Double Standards
Stimpy replied to Fury's topic in Rangers Chat
Good blog again. -
I'm happy with Whyte's actions so far. He initially showed inexperience in the transfer market, but also that he won't bend over at the first price on the table. Whyte is also taking fans views on board which is excellent and unprecedented in recent times. There's also the matter of his dealings with the media; I love how he isn't afraid to speak openly about the nonsense written or said. I also like the fact that he is refusing to answer all the critics when they question his wealth. We don't really know how our finances look right now and probably won't until the tax case is up (I'm assuming the end of the month). One of me wishes is that he runs the club within its means and looks to promote the brand more. From his meetings with the RST and VB it would seem that he is genuinely interested in fan ownership or at least more fan involvement. This was another wish that I had and felt all along this might be his plans/exit strategy. So far so good for me. The real acid test is still to come, even if he inherited it, he has to deal with it.

Did we not vote for their inclusion into the league many moons ago, or is that a myth?
