On Saturday 8th December our Club will celebrate its 140th anniversary with a match against Stirling Albion. It is perhaps time to reflect that the Club was once fan owned with a strong thriving membership and the RSTâ??s Community Share project is a step towards achieving this once again. Through the flotation of the Club the support has an opportunity to gain a meaningful stake and play a significant role in the Club as we move forward. After the announcement by the AIM market the expectation is the prospectus will follow soon after. As indicated on the RST's buyRangers.org website, within five working days of the prospectus being issued the site will be opened up to taking memberships of the Community Share scheme. This is to give those considering investing time to dissect and discuss the prospectus. For many Rangers fans the fine detail of a prospectus and its implications on the future of the club, and any investment by the fans, are difficult to comprehend. To this end we hope to have an expert in that field have a laymanâ??s terms guide on the buyRangers.org site soon after the prospectus is issued. Hopefully we as a support seize this opportunity and become the heart and soul in every aspect of the club once more. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/item/get-ready-to-invest-in-your-club-2.html

Where do We Draw the Line & When Does it Come to an End?
Stimpy replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Good post Zappa. We need to make sure we don't make a rod for our own backs by declaring across the board boycotts which would never sustain. I think come February is when the support might see where the land lies and where we all go from there. If we do beat United then plenty of bears will be of the thinking that they won't miss out on the next one. Interesting times ahead. -
I'd rather see Richard Wilson doing our PR than Traynor.
-
In favour. Statement should be ready shortly then it'll be emailed off to members and stuck up on the usual places.
-
Cheers. Hope you're buying first.
-
poll the fans is the best way forward IMO. Bears will travel far wide to see their team regardless of what other clubs think of the club.

Only certain online elements say this though. To be frank, and I appreciate you don't know me so can't judge and only have my word on here: There is absolutely no chance I will be anyone's yes man or little helper. On top of that the board, except three other members, are all new and have only served one year or less, myself included. BD's comments are right that he serves on too many other committees. However, Mark doesn't have a normal 9-5 job and is able to attend these meetings. It's an easy fix for us and from what I can see his presence is no greater or less than that of his board position. Before my time so won't comment on past events when I am not aware of the facts. However, although the RST is not perfect, it's social media channels make it the most open group within the three fan groups. All reasonable questions (meaning questions without abuse or hyperbole) are answered. One of my aims was to make us more user friendly and it's working in small steps. We have three ways to get in contact and plenty to use it. Our AGMs are public knowledge, can you say that of the other two groups? Term is two years as voted in at last year's AGM when the Trust adopted SD's new rules. Maximum term is 12 years, and I think that's too long. I could live with four years personally. Only three can be co-opted which is in line with the constitution. No changes have been made to the constitution without consulting the members at an AGM. Co-opting folk can help the board in the short term. The next AGM that individual has to be elected in by the membership. Don't recall the radio 5 live phone in. Planting stories don't work when the media refuse to discuss anything anti-Celtic. Any press release reaches the media and is mostly quoted throughout and the statements go down well with the support. This goes both ways: Will the smear campaigns stop? That said, I do't care much for FF or people's petty personal differences. I have heard plenty from both side for and against. My low post count would prove that I don't use FF much. So now you have had your say on one fan group, will you balance it up with your say on VB's actions towards fellow Rangers fans, RM's obsessive 20 page threads on RST? Or any comment for the other two groups? Cheers!

Oops! Already a thread:)

Dude, the way you're rubbing your chin wouldn't look out of place at the girodome, lol! Was there many of those signs today?

I can't take your posts seriously, you can't back them up, Rangers fans (some) prefer to belittle and undermine their fellow Rangers fans. Therefore I prefer to take the piss. Like just this minute, friend of mine received a text (the origins of the text are known) asking what his court appearance was about tomorrow. But there is no day in court. Now tell me, do I get all hung up by childish, in some cases sinister, pranks or should I laugh at grown men on the internet talking utter baws? Don't take it personal, we don't know each other, I'm sure we'd enjoy a cold pint together, but this type of stuff takes me to the fair.
-
Are these rhetorical questions?
-
Agreed. I have my doubts over D&P, which isn't helped when they're inextricably linked to Whyte, but TBKs let me down and many others. Paul Murray's done well out of it IMO.
-
That's your game and the agenda's quite clear. Your points are getting thinner as you go along. Though do keep it up as it's humouring me with all the petty conspiracy stuff that only emanates from two areas of the Rangers online community. You focus on your agenda and RST will focus on theirs which is clearly stated on the website.

Hatred of fellow Rangers fans....mainly. Look back and read RM when it happened. You'll cringe.

Neil Doncaster defends health of Scottish Premier League
Stimpy replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
That really is shocking. You'd think they'd be in party mood with us in SFL and all our top players walking. -
Put that aside. Milller wanted the newco and look what happened when HMRC refused the CVA. Jeez, many warned of the consequences before it happened and I know spoke of it at length with one prominent member of VB. Why the fuck would you ever support a newco?
-
Spot on;) Even got a Tweet ready for the nod!
-
The primary reason for miller backing out was that his people found £5.5m worth of health & safety repairs needing done on Ibrox. I can't recall the thread but a few posts from Green hinted at this. What most folk do not know is that the RST secretary was in correspondence with Miller's people and it was all very professional. I'm even friends with with one of them on FB because of it.

Pfft, getting RT'n RST's latest tweet. You've got a tasty following!

Some wee snippets from Green's investor pitch last week....
Stimpy replied to Steve1872's topic in Rangers Chat
No word of a lie, and it might be completely and utterly irrelevant; I actually discussed an actual Rangers themed online bookie and casino with Imran when he was over here. I'm not sure if his interest in what I was saying was because he was being badgered about the OO or thought it had merit. #chancingmyarmatsomecredit -
I'm lost with the username. Explain please?

Sticks and stones......fingers are worse!

Personally I think you're clutching at straws and sound like the other lot. All the best!

Did you see the banners for Bill Ing or for the German bidder? Jesus wept. Bone cutting stuff!
