  1. Criticism doesn't bother me mate, I actually welcome it. Smear campaigns all based on lies & petty personalities clashes do. We let the tims ride all over the top of us on so many fronts because some bears main aim is to destabilise supporter groups. It'll take an official umbrella group that's effective, transparent and accountable to the support for all the shite to end.
  2. That's not an issue for the RST, in fact we're allowed ad hoc committees and and will have them soon. Members from abroad are asking about roles they can carry out, so regional roles might happen soon. My only worry, it might be slight paranoia after the summer events, is others using this as a tool to further their own agenda against the RST. At this point in time, I'm sick (understatement) of the mud being flung at the RST and its members, to the point I've considered walking away from fan groups and website involvement altogether. I'm all for it, I would happily get involved where possible, but would like assurances and an effective constitution in place so internet campaigns are put down by all.
  3. Absolutely, but concessions will have to happen as the RST have aims which might conflict with an official fans group. An official fans group would have to accept and support the RST's aims of promotion of the acquisition of shares etc.
  4. Good article. Agree. Just one thing, all three fan groups (RST and both RSAs) work together and communicate. That said though, the assembly appear to have fallen away. Not sure why and this was before Ross Blyth acted against the wishes of the support. RST are always more than willing to meet other groups or websites. Only issue is we met with RU when setting up BuyRangers and the rest is history without ever saying a word or bashing a key. I'd love to think it will happen again without people turning on us for no good reason.
  5. This might be minor detail in the mess, and ignore if so: After all we've read from the BBC on Rangers; the fact that BBC Scotland have some sort of ban from Ibrox; that many of their journalists hate Rangers; the fact they only ever carry negative stories that derails progress and creates panic amongst the support. So with all that mind, how desperate are you to use BBC Scotland as your choice to push your very own brand of propaganda? Perhaps I'm reading too much into the use of BBC but it strikes me of the last stand in a dirty war.
  6. Are Leggo's blogs still emailed out every morning? Haven't had read any of his stuff in weeks. usually falls into my inbox but nothing has came.
  7. I'm positive HMRC gave us opportunities to pay and Whyte ignored them. That's why CVA was knocked back, whereas others eventually met their obligations to HMRC.
  8. D&P advised Whyte on the takeover, finances and on the PAYE/NI payments. Recall a statement from D&P that was in PDF format but can't find it on my hard drive. it was mainly through David Greir.
  9. Did D&P release info where they represented whyte on non-payment and agreed Whyte would pay up? he never and the rest is history. Pretty sure D&P met with HMRC far back as September 2011.
  10. Pre-ordered and I've copied this post onto the RST FB page if that's okay, Frankie?
  11. I remember Cresta's chairman telling me this. Very sad. Cresta's an excellent club and worked very hard to replace the money stolen.
  12. Do you have a website to direct customers onto your website where they will buy? Once onto the website you can monitor customers behavior on the site via the likes of Google analytics. From there you can work with a web developer on how to develop your site so customers actually part with their cash. No expert but in general links work better on Twitter and images on Facebook.
  13. Are shareholders who hold a certain percentage allowed to attend board meetings, but are not allowed to vote on certain matters?
  14. Forum's full of old codgers. Though there are many games before my time that I'd have loved to have experienced. Happy birthday Craig.

    Rangers 1996-97

Have you tried the club? Pretty sure the media team could help.
  16. First I've heard of that.
  17. Other than the collective of the support, spunked more money into the club than other investor in history.
  18. Madness. Our club's a shadow of its former self. Great work from TRS lads.
  19. Enough to gain more power, influence and then get rid of Walter, McCoist and Murray. Wonder if Green will come back in after that? Largest shareholders are gangsters - jesus wept!
  20. Believe they chucked in £1m in the IPO. Both brothers were present at BS' recent wedding.

Dare say they would Rab. My own idea is fans eventually own the club then we go to a members club.

We need an alternative then. Suppose we need someone to form another group and make fan ownership it's main aim? Solutions are always welcome.
