  1. Before reading the article I thought you had invented an IPO treasure hunt.
  2. Daily Mail running with Wallace being on £300k pa and 100% bonus. Heard it earlier today and near boaked
  3. Cheers, D'Art. I'll try and respond later when day off work and kids of school headache at the same time goes away.
  4. On hand masseurs and some of the best fitness advice money can buy on tap is draining. In Ally and Durrant they've got two guys who've dealt with the mental pressure their whole careers.
  5. One season with Rangers in the lower leagues against part timers and he's toiling. Nicky Law isn't fit to wear the jersey. Work load for fux sake. We've never played so few games, well not in my time following.
  6. Yeah, they sack someone but also pay them off very handsomely. And toxic is rumoured to be helping with statements etc. Kinda like Indian giving.
  7. Massive decision for you mate. Are there many other bears in the disabled RSC thinking of doing similar.
  8. I'd take that, mate. I'd honestly like to check myself and see if I'm looking at it from one side only. Good to reflect but I'd prefer something to go on. If that make sense.
  9. Chaps, I'm not looking to troll or create tension here, but for the life of me I can't work out why any bear can trust or support the current board. I've seen nothing from the board that can help balance up my own feelings and each passing week sees more shit rolled at supporters. So, in the spirit of good debate, what are the good points of the board which gets them support, albeit a small minority, but support all the same from fellow Bears. What are the positives from board.
  10. Player 2 and 3 can play in a variety of positions. That'll suit Ally. Never read the rest in case it hurts.
  11. You've got to be joking? Driving a bus and organising kits is £120k pa job........fucking hell
  12. Playing politics with our season ticket: another moment of shame for Rangers FC board of directors
  13. How Keith feels Scottish Football's regaining health is beyond me. Our national sport has never been so bad or unwanted by corporate sponsors. Claiming the game is healthier when one chairman refuses to sit with his peers due to his own bigoted ways is astonishing. Raith were shite and so were DU. Both sides beat us because we were poorer on the day, nothing to do both them being any good. His appraisal on us was pretty accurate.
  14. ST cash firmly on hold for now. Most in the club are too going by today's meeting.
  15. I was going to start a thread similar to this. The Ally debate always flings up who will we get. I'd rather it be: what do we want from the next manager and our expectations in the short to long term. From youth up we need a culture change but hold onto one of our traditions of never giving up on the field.
  16. When the tims were knocked out of the Scottish cup I asked a Tim in work if he wanted Lennon sacked. No was the answer and my logic was that the last three years he's had a golden opportunity to win three trebles and properly dominate Scottish Football. Lennon failed. Timmy's fuck up was our opportunity to win an unprecedented treble, a treble which would have been celebrated for years to come. Ally failed to inspire his players and we were beaten by a very poor Raith side and not that great a side in DU. We were beaten on attitude and concentration against Both sides. Jeez, we were lucky to even get past Albion Rovers. None of the sides left in the Scottish Cup are great shakes and with the right attitude we can beat them. Ally's reluctance to drop Moshni and other under performing players is also a concern. Faure would be better than Moshni, far better. Time for change.
  17. First half was one our best of the season but went into half time 2-1 down. Horrendous defending and even worse finishing sealed our fate. The Simonsen mistake was in the post. His positioning throughout the game was poor and never looked confident or comfortable. Second half the team assumed normal service: long balls, little movement and no guts. The SPL standard player we've signed is for cup comps IMO and they went missing yesterday. I'm probably the one who felt Black was okay yesterday, whose technical ability got him out of a numerous tight situations and kept possession. Law's the real problem in midfield. You'll all have noticed DU closed down much quicker than league 1 sides. Aird's pace was hurting United but his crossing wasn't. Second half United countered that and nullified the lad's only strength. Shield and Daly don't look interested but then Sheils is never good enough for us, Daly is if we play it on the deck with Clarke pairing up. Both of them can get us to the SPL. The gap isn't all that big between ourselves and the top six but we do have SPL players and a much bigger wage budget, that in theory should mean we have better players. Two decent defenders and we will romp the championship if the attitude is right. The SPL under Ally's leadership could get very embarrassing as he fails to inspire and motivate his players, never mind suspect tactics. Preferably we gut out the team but that's not going to happen.
  18. Pleasant change from local breweries, but the numbers involved is what counts here.
  19. Other than Wallace and Jig I'm really not sure the players appreciate the club. Was told about players acting like spoilt brats a while back and then last Sunday Heggarty appeared in the WRC before the game. His mates were on my bus. He went about slagging off his team mates, training regime and admitted to walking out on a session because his hands were sore from boxing. Also said Ally never took a training session the week leading up to the Raith Rovers match. Not what any fan wants to hear, especially hours before a cup final.
  20. I'd keep Wallace as he should be Jig's successor and ideal candidate IMO. The rest is hard to argue with, although I've been saying for long enough the whole club needs cleansed and not just the board.
  21. Definetly the worst in my lifetime watching us. He really didn't know what to do or what position he should take up. Horrendous.
  22. Yup. Should've mentioned that. Both football cultures are completely different. The ultra scene over here is like trying to leagalise hooliganism without being a hooligan.
  23. Ultras in the UK are wannabe football hooligans without the balls. Dress the same but haven't the same will to go that one step closer. They steal flags FFS. Not condoning the casual scene but the ultra thing is cringeworthy. Stick casuals and ultras besides each other and it won't be hard to tell the difference: one group loves violence the other likes to kid on they like it. Reason I like TBO is they're all about atmosphere and colour as opposed to trying to look good.
  24. Not a dime. Call McCormick and get the press release pronto!
