RM's full of loons. The forum is also a 100% embarrassment to Rangers FC and its fans. In fact, I don't even view that place as a Rangers forum. The gutter is more apt.

Robbed? Why Rangers could have been the first Champions League winners
Stimpy replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Hateley spoke about this last night when a bear asked him what the highs and lows of his career were. You could sense anger coming from him and he seems convinced his sending off against Bruge was part of the bribery. -

They just don't get that hiring expensive PR men will not wash with the majority. Cheap stunts like yesterday only fool the hard of thinking. However, I think he should walk around the city centre and talk to the so called silent majority. Got appease the people who never stop calling themselves the silent majority that claim to be un affiliated to groups but have RF ribbons on their avatar.

True state of Rangers: Hedge funds and faceless organisations appear to be pulling the strings. They certainly are not accountable to supporters and Laxey's actions in the run up to the AGM suggests they don't give a flying fuck what we think and will act upon their interests as shown in their vote for Stockbridge even though they admitted his incompetence. Others are clouded in secrecy who've given their proxies to bus owners. The board of directors have been shown up as liars, willing to sue Rangers fans whilst they ignore dangerous fundamentalists in the selick support. Throw in a poor review, bonus culture, refusing to adhere to company law by refusing to disclose directors salaries, and this is all in 6/7 months, they're not fit for purpose. We've the second highest playing wage bill in Scotland but perhaps one of the poorest sides. No fight, no tactical nous, no inspiration or drive flows through Ally and his players. No one appears to have at least tried to remedy this. The staff at the club, not all, are not the best we can get. Example being, when have you ever saw any position advertised? The Rangers shop in Belfast never advertised the store manager's position but hired the previous guy.....who got the sack not so long ago. Only the social media guy stands out. The supporters are fragmented with pro-boarders claiming to be the silent majority which is just bull shit. I've seen fans threatened. I was even threatened by fellow fans, and the club are lapping it up. Jesus! The fan subject could go on all night. No meaningful representation all because the board fear supporters IMO. We have a beautiful stadium in dire need of TLC. The land around the stadium is a disgrace for a club of our stature that doesn't attract extra revenue. We've tens of thousands of fans mulling around Ibrox every other Saturday and the club has no facilities to generate income from 40,000+ people hanging around talking. Our standing in Scottish Football has never been lower. Little respect and a queue of people willing to stick their boot in. Outside of the RST and a brief appearance by the working group I've seen no one else try and take them on. And, we spend more money than we bring in. Massive opportunity to the right man to solve all of that. Edit: we don't even have a scouting network but a board willing to reward themselves or sue fans.

IPO brought in £22,000,000. Seven months later the financial director couldn't tell supporters what was left, but the very next day he told the Sun newspaper it was all gone. From there the club's been posting losses and spending more than it brings in each month. Simple arithmetics is more apt.

Don't think he liked blame being apportioned to Murray when fans were asked where the rot started. to sure that's the exact reason though.

I think he was onto something but is unable to articulate the message that would resonate with fans or paint a clear picture.

Most of my mates in Belfast and back in Clydebank are not in groups but hate the current regime and are still undecided. I think they're leaning towards King and the season ticket company but don't understand how it works.

Yeah - for the most part football fans outlook can be black and white when it comes to their club. The consequences can be detrimental to their own careers. That said, I still feel they could have done more. Walking besides Sandy to Hampden would never have harmed their careers or grouping together with competent individuals and quiz the regimes more. That'd have more gravitas than supporter groups with the wider support and perhaps help bring more of us together.

I'm having a light chat on FB on ex players and their lack of action since admin. So, should they have done more when we went into administration and months afterwards? Some points from me: Bomber got a lot of hassle for speaking up when he did. Okay, he might have lacked the appropriate skills but the message was still there. A portion of the support and past colleagues flung him under a bus IMO. Gough was approached early days in admin to help with SaveRangers and never got involved. I'm willing to move on if he can help with supporters now though. Many players gave interviews with the usual sound bytes but never thought of standing besides the support. March to Hampden is a classic example where Sandy led the support besides influential fans...an excellent opportunity to show unity with the people who adored them but not one stuck their head above the parapet. Disappointing when Sandy and Ally were in the trenches with supporters. Kris Boyd got involved in BuyRangers and certain players walked away in very disappointing circumstances. So, your opinion on the current status of ex players and their actions during and after administration?

For the first time in my supporting life I have twice left at halftime and once I never bothered my arse leaving the pub. Take a look at the Louden at halftime.....it's mobbed as fans flock in.

Notable thing is, based on being a former moderator of the RST FB page where I got to know many names, is all those names are new to me. Not the first time I've see the official page take a battering though. It can be argued that UoF might not have the support of the majority, what cannot be argued is the majority do not trust board of Rangers FC. McCoist's brand of football is another factor but nowhere near the trouble with the board. I feel we are close to the perfect storm with fans holding off renewing because incompetent management on and off the field.
