  1. Yeah - you're not getting it at all. I'll leave it here.
  2. You do love trying to discredit people. Think pragmatically and the answer will come.
  3. He'll be off my Xmas card list if he didn't join in with the chant.
  4. Assembley weren't in attendance. Gordon Dinnie, Chris Graham, Craig Houston and Drew Roberton were the UoF reps and Wallace, Crighton and Sandy (get to fuck) Easdale represented the club.
  5. I do enjoy the ramblings of fools. Bill jnr the court jester. If the board requested Bill to participate in sexual acts with animals, he'd most likely do it.
  6. I don't think it does mate. If a deal is agreed then the uof can simply state that they're renewing and look forward to the club's marketing campaign, then stay quiet whilst the renewal process is under-way. I would go further and have the UoF encourage the club to engage supporters in fan forums etc. Free advice which keeps the ball in the court of the club.
  7. Having slept on this I still think it's a positive move for UoF. Last week's club statement has shown up the board and proved, that despite them possibly securing over 20k in STs, they're totally unaware as to the the power fan groups can yield in the public eye. (Club statement: http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/6929-club-statement) I'm told Wallace stated that he's happy only 5% of supporters are in groups. This was flung back at him by pointing out less than 1% of the British voting population are in political parties yet 30/40/50% vote for them. They underestimated the influence of fan groups. That said, the devil will be in the detail and the plc agreeing to this has still to come as is the actual document itself. Dave King needs to play his part now since it appears the UoF have done their bit. The board and its paymasters are still in control and need removed if the club is to move on. Good news that important assets and traditions might be secured. Bad news that, taking the statement from the club towards UoF on board, our directors are not fit for purpose and they are still there. Some miles left in this.
  8. The what next is most important. The ****s are still there, the same guys still control the majority.
  9. Indeed but a compromise always likely and perhaps the best we could hope for.
  10. UNION OF FANS STATEMENT "Following a number of attempts, over several weeks, to arrange a meeting with Chief Executive, Graham Wallace, to discuss our proposals for security over Ibrox and Murray Park, the Union of Fans were invited by Mr Wallace to discuss this and other issues at a meeting on Wednesday night. Representatives of the Union of Fans met with Mr Wallace, Non Exec Director Norman Crighton and Sandy Easdale. A proposal was made by Mr Wallace that whilst the board would not grant a security they could consider giving a legally binding undertaking which would protect Ibrox from sale, sale and leaseback or as any form of security for a loan or other finance. We made it clear to Mr Wallace that we felt it was also appropriate that they provide the same undertaking for Murray Park. Mr Wallace and Mr Crighton agreed to discuss this with the rest of the PLC board as a matter of urgency and further discussions between the PLC board and Union of Fans will continue once this board meeting has taken place. We believe we accurately conveyed the fears of supporters that either or both of these club assets could be lost to the club in a scenario where they were used for any sale and leaseback or other loan security. Any proposal by the board will be evaluated by our lawyers and a decision will then be taken on how to move forward. We will keep fans fully informed as discussions continue."
  11. The complaint about the club not adhering to company law was legitamite and necessary. This one is bordering on barrel scraping with a strong hint of the complainer being unaware of what's actually happening.
  12. It didn't mate. Bugbear of mines through all of this shit is pigeon holing bears in or out of groups, though you weren't doing it, people try to in a way to discredit fans.
  13. I honestly think the current lot will just carry on with 15,000 ST holders with the larger shareholders approving of the board's strategy until an offer comes along they're ready to sell at. This is where our wealthy supporters need to come in, bite the bullet and buy out the BPH and Margarita's etc. It looks highly unlikely that those investor will budge for King as things stand and lose their control. I also feel both fan investment vehicles could raise £500k between them if a share issue gets announced as the exposure and hysteria surrounding it would help market their vehicles. Both can do better if they were to seek a loan (sensible lending) based on monthly DDs. I'd be in favour of the RST doing this and would encourage the board to get it done. This wouldn't get us full ownership but we'd be in a better place for it. Pros and cons for sensible lending and perhaps a debate for another day.
  14. The same Hateley who claimed he backed Murray and co on Friday night to a mate of mines and then went onto say fans should go with their gut on renewals.
  15. Fan groups tend to get favoured for a few reasons: *They (RST for example) speak for between 2500-3000 fans. ordinary fan speaks one person, them. *Questions are usually organised and minutes professionally minuted with enough people their to secure accuracy *Fan groups, RST for example, have a bigger audience than any website, group or ordinary fan will ever have. Therefore using a few select channels streamlines the message *Fan groups have a diverse membership and therefore have a better range of questioning. Groups are not perfect but it is easier to have reps present at fan forums where the message is spread further. In the club's case though, as things stand, they'd prefer a few fans with limited ability to spread important messages.
  16. Fan groups are run by ordinary fans mate. Difference is some people go beyond their posting on the internet or talking about it with mates down the pub and try and do something. Doesn't make them any less ordinary. The ordinary fans people allude to (ST holders etc) are often the same apathetic ones many moan about. Fan groups, in my experience, organise and collate good questions rather than kiss arse or ask unimportant stuff like TBB.
  17. Wee day in Southern England beckons:D
  18. My memory of the sending off is Hateley running straight down the tunnel. Nothing of the actual red card.
