Because of the time of year and little talk of it until yesterday I expected 50-100 at best. Whether it is 200 or 600 it is still a reasonable showing considering the time of year. Next will probably be bigger.

Indeed. Fantastic gesture and I agree that the club's weak executive management team will likely let it pass by them or offer something not quite befitting the art school and club.

Without sounding insulting to the younger generation, the show of the elders in our support shows how much the face and actions of the club has changed. Those supporters have seen all sorts over the years and can relate to the gentleman of the past and virtues passed down from the Gallant Pioneers. They fear for the very soul of the club. Of course younger bears do too but more mature supporters can compare easier IMO.

Exactly why I'm not in favour of this. We are talking about grown men with families and careers needing told how to behave. And the thing is, outside of two websites, the groups work well together and, if the card protests are anything to go by, affiliated and non affiliated fans are on the same page.

This won't achieve anything. Let's face it, arseholes don't stop being arseholses just because they attended one meeting. They'll be good guys there wanting nothing but the best, but the arseholse in our support live for agro and will resume their hate not long after the meeting ends. This is pandering to arseholses IMO.

It's obvious Sandy Easdale is the main player at Ibrox who follows his masters bidding regardless of what board he does or doesn't sit on. Wallace is there for credibility reasons, and that is failing.
