You've just proved my point on all of this. Pandering to a small minority of gutter wrenches. It doesn't matter what forum they post on, the name calling comes form a tiny minority and each of them deserves one another. I've seen name calling on every forum and social media outlet, and the common theme is that they're in a small minority and it is the same people time and gain popping up. I've clocked cranks name call on Facebook then ten minutes later indulge in the same behaviour on Twitter. More often than not I have been able to figure who they are on forums because they stand out.- 81 replies

It is pandering to a small minority mate. This won't move things forward.- 81 replies

Erm, I see a united support. Perhaps not 100% which will never ever, ever happen but a majority that believes. I also see a small minority disengage with fans who do not conform to their opinions followed by abuse and smears. Here's a good example. You defend the board on here. I also see the majority object to the board on here. See where I'm going? Despite the club's board's best effort to fuck us all over some still think they're okay.- 81 replies

Look at the people that are involved in the online spats. Their numbers are very, very small and are quite often ridiculed if not ignored. There are tens of thousands of supporters only interested in the club's well-being not engaging with organised groups or campaigns for various reasons. Most are aware but prefer to sit tight like many of my mates are doing. Attendance tomorrow is acknowledging a tiny minority of agitators, some of whom may well be ****s, we don't know for sure, which heaps further embarrassment on the support. I'd like to think the more mature groups (RST, RSAs) won't be in attendance. Thank goodness I'll be carrying out my end of month stocktake that will take up all my thoughts away from this cringefest.- 81 replies

As far as I'm aware the loan is to be paid in full the minute the cash is in the bank. The September deadline is for incurring extra costs from memory. Could be wrong but I don't believe it to be above 10k STs.
-
Loans have yet to be paid back so I'd say less than 5000. Unless the club is withholding money back and not meeting their committments?

John Brown & Craig Houston handing over the SoS petition at Ibrox

The phrase 'ready to listen' is more apt. 7000 season ticket holders would like Mr Wallace and his colleagues to protect Rangers' assets. Not too much to ask, is it?- 53 replies

Last I heard was that King's meeting with institutional investors to discuss share issues and the board's performance.

Meh. Was hoping for a day out in England with the bears. Although I hope our American friends take advantage of the team touring the States and Canada.

Does it prompt you to enter the scores before kick off?

Expectations for the Financial State of the Club Going Forward
Stimpy replied to buster.'s topic in Rangers Chat
I've consigned myself to mediocrity for the foreseeable future. Obviously someone could appear and fling millions into the playing squad but to really fulfil the club's potential I think we are looking at £100m of pure investment. Then there's the price to buy a majority holding and have instant working capital. -
Will it all be fans who've renewed? I won't ever criticise fans for renewing but the club is likely to view those bears as easier to work with. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I don't disagree with your post but the reality, in my opinion, is in bold. Long winding road ahead, mate.

Fair enough. Apologies. Offer of a pint and culture evening is still there.

The leaks by Charlotte on Twitter pretty much proved who was in with who. The Charity Foundation's gesture was nothing whatsoever to do with Whyte, Green or the current scumbags, and was not in anyway a shameful embarrassment to Rangers FC. Some simple research and you would find that out or if you had been around at the time. Sorry, the spider senses still tingle. Shall I pick you up from the airport or docks on the 11th? One of my traditions on the 11th is to drive round the bonfires then to lower Falls and shout dirty ****** bastard with blood and thunder blasting from the speakers.
-
That never hurt Whyte, only the charity foundation. Whyte was proven to be toxic by then with no chance of coming back......or at least coming back in public.
-
So you joined in with tims? Meet you in the pigeon club in Ardoyne for pint over the twelfth? My RSC runs a great cultural evening on the 11th. Very popular.
-
The complaint was driven by the tims, one in particular on Twitter whose name escapes me. If Fury's on tonight he might remember as he had a few ding dongs with him. Another obsessed, unhinged, barking mad ****.
-
No offence but my spider senses are tingling right now. I recall timothy, and only timothy, making an issue of this.
-
True. Although it is worth pointing out the chairman on the club board hold the proxies for two hedge funds and is nothing more than a patsy. He's not there based on competence. Also, what I feel is obvious, is the club board and PLC are not split. Clusterfuck. Only Dave King can end this. So can a few others but they're not going to.
-
Not the Charity Foundation donating some of the proceeds to the club during admin? Not sure I agree as the AC Milan players agreed to it and were very sympathetic to us. Unlike our Scottish counterparts.
-
There you have it. The board should be in dialogue, as Frankie has suggested on numerous occasions, with groups and any other fans interested in open forums. Be honest no matter how hard that'll be for supporters and over time they will win over trust so long as the truth comes with a viable plan. Quite simple but I think we all know they can't as they're faces for hedge funds.
