    VB Twitter

Looks to have been hacked by the filth. Guess that's a warning to other popular Gers Twitter accounts to be careful and maybe think about changing their passwords.
  2. Swap Rangers/unionists with nationalists in that article and it would read the same for how many unionists are feeling right now because of the behaviour from Yes campaigners.
  3. Pointless exercise when the majority have stopped going this season. I get that SoS need to stay relevant since they don't offer any actual service but this isn't it. Get a crowd stood outside before, during and after the game with banners might be more worthwhile exercise.

Indeed. I remember that as was Monty. Both I'm told have realised their errors. Were you not surprised how far apart McCoist and Andy was that night? Andy is Ally's accountant and advisor but Ally appeared dead against Green back then.

Which might give some wiggle room for the s7ivs. Not that they need much!
  6. Genuine passion is fine too, which is where Wasp is coming from. However, sometimes I wonder if there's an ulterior motive to blatantly ignoring the facts. Going to Ibrox was long seen as the weekly pilgrimage and now half of those supporters have made the decision not to go....same of those fans have been going longer than a lot of us has been on this planet. The fans going never get stick for funding charlatans as we respect people wanting to watch their team. Perhaps some respect is due to the fans who've made the biggest sacrifice in this mess.
  7. It's the ignoring of facts which is amazing. Again it's been said in this thread that 50000 season tickets wouldn't even see out the season.
  8. I'm sure your friend will understand when you explain the level of corruption and complete disregard the board has for supporters. Perhaps your friend will say "wow! Those fans are sacrificing so much for the greater good of Rangers with their decision not to fund people who've no interest in Rangers as a football club."
  9. 30k+ won't prop up this regime. Note: that's if my figures are correct.
  10. I await the spin being that the statement saying both were together was poorly worded. People will but that explanation and the journey to hiving off assets continues.
  11. More lies. With the considerable evidence to prove incompetence and perhaps skull duggery, why aren't the more honest institutions asking serious questions about their investment? Corporate governance mustn't exist in the Blue Room.

Near that in total over the years. Membership numbers go up in sequence. Last one I recall was over 7600. Colin Glass is 001, Dingwall is 007, I'm 4243.
  14. Cork City would get a great turn out from us and we'd get a cracking day out.

I think we need to find a happy medium from somewhere, and fast! Too many fans are not involved in fan ownership and that's with the near 8000 fans the RST have had as members since inception. Most RF members are current or past RST members so they haven't reinvented the wheel with that. Our wealthy supporters tried under Murray and during admin but never got the gig. King's trying but going round in circles with the institutions and David Murray apparently had a bid knocked back three weeks ago. At the same time wealthy supporters are cagey about getting involved with supporters because of the online anarchy that envelops forums and social media, though the RST have had some success in being able to work besides and support, for which they are appreciative. We're a strange bunch when it comes to the club outside of following the team.

So fan ownership is out then:P Realistically we need to compromise on ownership between supporters and wealthy individuals who care about the club. Getting there makes climbing Everest look like a walk in the park.
  17. When we need to be at our strongest? Better to get rid now and at least have a chance when we are back up top again.
  18. I'm either blind or that was a ninja edit.
  19. No Boydy?
  20. I passed the idea onto Rangers via a friend. Typically they never replied but the Cork Trust appeared keen. Wish I could remember the guy's name. Sadly the email was on the RST email account which I no longer have access to or I'd retrieve it.
  21. Is your question for me?
  22. Swap fan for stakeholder and bring in other potential commercial revenue which is also missing and the executive management must bear the brunt of what we see, read and hear just now. War of attrition is in play. A step up from being a cold a war but things have to heat up sooner or later.
  23. So whose job is that to fix? Loyalty can only go so far.
