I've not got an account on FF but looking on RM it is laughable really. If he doesn't sign it is going to be the biggest ever from the other lot haha

Yep he did mate and yes he is fast for a big lad. I just don't think he is the sort of player we need at the moment. Not to say I wouldn't be delighted if we signed him, just I won't be down if we don't. Just hope if he does sign that I'm proved wrong

That was the point I was trying to get across but couldn't get it out haha :box: If we can't get an out and out winger though I'd take him as he is better than what we have for that position. If Beasley had managed to stay fit for longer than a couple of weeks at a time he would have been perfect. Our greatest run of form last season was when he was playing well.

Seen this yesterday and thought it was a very interesting read. The problem is though as Frankie said he won't get a job writing like that. You have to ask why though? I see a few articles that get tore right into us and our players yet seemingly nothing is reported in such a light with the mhanky mhob. I don't know if it is just me or not as I barely read anything regarding them. One thing I must say though is that some sections of our support make out the media to be far worse than what they actually are. Sometimes it just reeks of paranoia the way our fans go on at times. Don't know if it's because I'm outside of Glasgow or what but I don't see the media being all that bad. If a journalist says something that some people don't agree with then that paper is instantly labelled a rhag and that every paper is out to get us! Just wanting to gather other peoples opinion on this matter..:spl:

The way he plays out wide is similar to what Lafferty does, tries to beat a man, cut inside and pass. The only difference is that Barazite will sometimes beat the man haha

Yep mate I want to be proved wrong so badly! I suppose I have never really paid attention to him before but I do remember every time seeing him play I always thought he was over-rated and pish haha Also because I never really paid attention I don't really know what sort of forward he is..I'm really happy though that we are even having a discussion about a NEW player as I had forgot what the feeling was like :spl:

Barazite does sound a player but I feel he is a player we don't need at the moment. We have all been asking for a winger and Barazite isn't that type of player, he won't really offer us that much width as he is wide player that likes to cut in most times. If we can't get an out and out winger I would gladly take him as he is better than our current options.

Rapid have pissed about with this to much! I understand their point of view and we would probably be the same for us if it were the other way about(aye right) but this has dragged on and on. I hope he goes on strike and they get humped about 5-0 in the first game but can't see it happening, although that is maybe all it will take is the player to show he really does want away. The reported �£4mil that we have offered is a big sum of money and I can't really see another EPL team taking a gamble on him. I just wish it could have been concluded by now, either by the deal being completed or us just simply walking away. Getting sick and tired of reading that the deal is off on off on off on off on off on hahaha!

It's funny looking at other Rangers forums when the news about this came out. From him being utter pish and never a player to something special that would really offer something to the team haha!

I have never rated Beattie but I will be holding my judgement on him until around the 5th or 6th game and see how he has settled in.

Ok I see but every person will have their own understanding of what a 'traditionalist' is though, so it is hard to put a lot of people into that bracket. For some it would simply mean being a proud protestant and wanting the club back to the days where the majority were also. For others it could be as you describe in your post. There are many definitions of what the word traditionalist means to Rangers and I'm just wondering what most people think of when that word gets branded about.

Yeah I understand it is probably nothing more than a rumour mate. Just saying if there was any truth in it I don't see us getting a huge fee. Although Hodgson may feel now that Davis has improved a lot since his move here? He may also feel that Davis will fit into the Liverpool team but with Fulham he couldn't be used in their system. I'd be very shocked if anything came of this haha

Davies? haha So the fee is for Mascharano? or that is the proposed fee for Davis? We should not be accepting anything less than �£10mil but knowing Rangers it will be about 4-5.
