  1. Stopped reading after 'The' Rangers FC... That is not the club name!
  2. WOAH 8000 tickets.... Scottish football is on its knees...
  3. This is something Dundee United do as well, I have always thought it was a good idea with many teams in Scandinavia doing it.
  4. Sick of this 'new' Rangers nonsense
  5. Over ten years ago though
  6. That is my fear as well, not just for us though - for all Scottish teams including celtic.
  7. Agreed. I do hope Rangers are clever when selling tickets this year for games that attract 20,000 we should be filling the lower tiers.
  8. Hey mate sorry I don't get that statement. I do however think the stadium is starting to show its age a little. On a different note I would like to see Rangers manage the tickets(public sale) for the coming season so that the lower tiers are sold first, therefore creating an atmosphere for less attended games.
  9. Just wanted to gather opinion/ start a discussion on our stadium and what the future holds for Ibrox. I am sure many will be aware of celtic propaganda that our stadium has a high running cost (any one got a reference to exact figures?) I realise Craig Whyte made some cosmetic changes to the interior of the ground a long with replacing the TVs, my question is how long can Ibrox in its current form continue to be fit for purpose? Would we save money in the long term by redeveloping? Does anyone think we could move? Would anyone like to move? What would be an ideal scenario moving forward?
  10. I all depends on if he enjoys living in our country. If he is settled ad is getting paid well, I think he will stay.
  11. I hope so Frankie, I think these are the types of games that could see small attendances. We need to get behind the team in this game as it could lead to a decent cup run which would light up our season.
  12. As soon as the tickets go on ublic sale I am going to grab one - the question is though what attendance should we expect? A mid week cup game I would think we will be lucky to get 25,000. Thoughts?
  13. Maybe a longer contract will see him on lower wages and in turn he gets the stability of a long term contract to finish his career.
  14. Bigotry comes in all shapes and forms however I would be more inclined to say it was more jealousy and envy.
  15. Samaras agent posting this on Twitter. @LawTop20: Pantelis Kafes to join Rangers from AEK Athens on a free transfer! @LawTop20: Greek media reporting that Kafes' two-year deal is set for 500k per year including bonuses. Make of it what you will...
  16. We have more chance of joining England if we don't get a license... Most of my English colleagues are sympathetic to our circumstance.
  17. I honestly don't think Whyte is that stupid...;
  18. Never thought I would say this... but I agree. Black, Shiels and hell even Kenneth fit the bill. Should also be looking at some of the Falkirk kids.
  19. My mate was on Kyles stag do this year and he was telling them he struggles with certain movements now, he basically said he struggles to turn.
  20. In regards to Kyle He now turns slower than a double decker bus... We need to be thinking of next season, Kyle is not the answer
  21. All ifs and buts, once we get our membership we will have no issue.
  22. Wow - but can you really trust an agent to tell the truth...
  23. Rumour is he has been locked in discussions with Green today. Severance deal? New contract offer? Free transfer? Time will tell.
  24. Exactly - Green could have been planning on having an unscheduled call/meet to ensure everything was going smoothly But Grant loves to get his beak in
  25. Getting annoyed at the SFAs handling of the press - Green comes out on Rangers tv and declares he will be meeting Regan later today. Grant Russell ‏@STVGrant tweets Further to Charles Green's claims on RangersTV earlier, SFA have told STV that Stewart Regan has no scheduled meeting with Green today
