Time flies... It was the 31st of October since we last played SPL opposition, we are now approaching February and we must now once again try to raise our game and compete at a higher level. Of recent times our standard of play and concentration have started to slip, but we must now pick ourselves up and dust ourselves down. The main question for me is is what changes can be made to give ourselves the best chance of winning. I suggest we go for the much-maligned 5-4-1 with the line up below: :na: :aa::rp::lm::ec: :kh: :ib: :fs: With Temps pushing up supporting Fran. This team also has the option to change quickly depending on how the game is going. Temps and Shiels can switch to the wings if we want to go for a flat 4 in the midfield. I think having McCulloch at the back will give us the cover needed coming up against the pace of Johnny Russell. What are your thoughts?

Strange I mentioned Laudrup today...

Our youth system as well as our scouting system needs a good clear out. I would love to bring in someone like Laudrup or Wilkins to coach our youngsters. We also need to assess Neil Murray's role in some of the howlers we have made in the transfer market. I still think we should make John Park an offer he can't refuse.

It is really sad to see how a former captain (one which lead us to a European final) is spoke about on here. Barry Ferguson for me was a great young player whos standards slowly slipped as injuries took there toll. I think his experience and overall reading of the game would be great for the young players. My only problem with Barry is the stupid comment he made about winning the Carling cup with Birmingham being his biggest success.

Very exciting possibility. I would love to leave Scotland behind. I would also rather celtic were not invited either.

Yeah, the most rational route would be to sit down at the end of this season and plan to restructure for 2014-2015. I like the 14 - 14 - 14 idea. Although the real solution would be to stick a bottle of spirit on the table and not leave Hampden until half of our professional teams are merged.
