Complete over reaction for one reason - it was a friendly! Do you think Newcastle fans will take much notice if we beat them on Tuesday, no of course they won't. They will see the bigger picture. The players who played against Dundee are still trying to gel. If we can beat Motherwell with the boys we had last year I am pretty confident we can go one further this year. Let's not forget outside of Celtic we have the most experienced squad with a decent amount of full internationals. As for tactics time will tell, but I for one am quietly optimistic about this year.

Completely disagree, sure we have bought a few players to do a job in the lower divisions in the short term (Smith, Daly and Foster) - however I have been impressed with the signings of: Bell Law Peralta Mohsni Clark All of the players listed above have a decent pedigree or potential and a possible resale value.

I disagree Frankie, It is very difficult for a team like Newcastle to qualify for Europe given the strength of the league they are in. If Ashley was to take over Rangers he could have a crack at Europe every year for a fraction of the cost. We must also however remember that despite his football clubs failings he is an astute businessman who could probably turn Rangers in to a profitable business very quickly.

It's amazing the difference in debate on this forum compared to another. This seems to be a hot topic once again. We as a support need to realise the singing of these songs is against the clubs wishes and we will be punished by the authorities. As I said earlier - Smith was probably too cheap an option to turn down. He provides cover for the whole left side, where as foster will cover the right. I expect we will see the likes of Cole heading out on loan this year.

I reckon Smith will be on very little and Ally saw it as a cheap option to add Depth.

The Bristol City fans were not impressed with Foster. Although with that said I do think they were too quick to get rid of McInnes.
