  1. One way to find out would be to contact them.
  2. It has been confirmed that it is direct with Puma, do you honestly thing a customer base the size of ours would be sold to a third party?! In regards to quality we will have to agree to disagree as it is my opinion that Puma are a top brand with a great selection of leisure wear.
  3. The idea that Puma is not the same standard as Nike and Adidas is ludicrous. Puma are one of the worlds top sport and leisure wear companies. People will always find something to moan about.
  4. Surely if we are bringing "friendly" results in to the equation he could mention the fact we should of beat Newcastle and only lost one preseason game....
  5. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4989-club-statement
  6. If we can loan players - it would be good to get a "Marquee" Premiership loan, someone who will get bums on seats.... Stephen Dobbie anyone?!! (sarcasm)
  7. Am I right in saying - now that our transfer embargo is over - we can loan players?
  8. We fielded a strong side - we realistically should have won.
  9. McCoist had the mental strength to pull through as his blood runs blue. If I am not mistaken Hutton's does not.
  10. Hmm I would like to see the figures to back that up. But with that being said - we are making a loss of around £1m a month and our wage bill is considerably lower and I am guessing that without CL football - Celtic would be making a monthly loss as well.
  11. I fully agree with you, as touching these gestures are - something doesn't sit right with me on this one.
  12. This is the reason we need a Dave King figure. A man who can offset the financial gulf by investing his own cash.
  13. Slightly miffed about Thomson to be honest.
  14. I fully agree with the club needs to be self-sustainable in the long term, but the fact is, as we climb through the lower leagues of Scottish football - Celtic are filling their boots with the Champions League cash. If we are to mount a serious challenge at getting back to the top of the pile we will need a little bit cash in the bank and King is the man to provide that. As for him being reputable - I would say that all businessmen come with a certain ruthlessness and its appropriate baggage - but one cannot doubt his love for the club.
  15. Right hear me out.... I know the title seems a little out there and yes many will disagree however having spent the weekend reading about Celtics European "adventure" and the money that will be coming into the club. It is becoming evident that we as a club need a man who is willing to invest his own money to allow us to compete financially once we get back to the top flight. Dave King has been quoted numerous times saying he is willing to invest in the club without looking for a financial gain. Will we see him make him move over the next few weeks?
  16. I should be a betting man
  17. I was born in 86 so I missed it too. The only thing that compares in our lifetime was the beginning of the Advocaat era.
  18. - I'm a glass half full kind of guy....
  19. So... in a word... Maybe
  20. The Bayern game was one of our best away performances, we did everything bar score. I have always liked Barry, but the League cup comment (Biggest achievement of his career), will forever stick in my throat - albeit he was probably slightly misquoted. In regards to the article - I myself think we will be back in the CL sooner than expected, just look at the rise of Napoli lately.
  21. Yeah I gathered mate, however I just wanted to point out that he needs to keep his head down as he could be quite the talent.
  22. He probably knows deep down he is just not good enough to be a Rangers player long term.
  23. It is in the SFA's best interest to put forward the best team. Look at how SPL teams have done this year in Europe...
