    He is one player I had really high hopes for, ever since he emerged from Stenhousemuir. His time at Hearts was stop-start and he never really fulfilled his potential, seems like we are seeing the pattern continue.

    I would not put it past Hearts to beat celtic at home.

    Don't believe it for a second - however I have heard he is just not cutting it in training.

    Not a bad draw - eases us in to the competition, I remember the 0-1 game against them last season well. Still I would have preferred a home tie.

    I don't get much inside info either mate, but from what I have heard Templeton is not applying himself in training. The lad has talent but needs to work harder.

    Was just chatting to a mate who knows McCoist and he was saying that Templeton has been terrible in training. Glad he got the goal tonight but apparently he needs to buck up his ideas.

    Rangerschat is usually hard listening, however I have been impressed with the improvement of late.

    A top 20 makes sense to me... I think it will bring a better standard of player to the country as players would be more likely to sign for the likes of Morton, Falkirk etc if they know they are playing Rangers and Celtic.

    Had a quick scout on other club pages - not one had that ugly mug on it. They don't even hide their bias anymore.

    What could be done as a test though is substitute Black once in a while for say McKay and move Peralta in one.

    I was happy with his signing mainly due to the fact he rag-dolled our defence every time he came up against us.

    I think people are unrealistic about what they thought three seasons in the lower leagues would bring. When do you ever seen a team progress through three consecutive leagues and not strengthen with a better quality of player. I understand people wanted to see good young players coming through whilst playing nice attractive passing football - this was never going to be the case. I do however feel we could have spent a little wiser and saved ourselves some money but that may have put off a lot of fans turning up week in week out and in turn caused us as a club to go backwards. Overall I am relatively happy with what I am seeing. On another note I see the Clyde super scoreboard are still claiming that we would struggle in the top 6 in the premier league.

    I can't believe people are actually worried about winning the Scottish championship.

    To say he struggled at Blackburn is simply not correct. He was had a bad injury and on his return he gained several man of the match awards. I could be wrong but I am sure he was also made captain. Barry was a top player for us and held his own against some of Europes top names. If he led us to glory in 2008 he would have been up there with the greats.

    I love the tune of Build My Gallows however I am not interested in the political message. But I cannot for the life of me remember Builld My Gallows being sung when I was younger (in the 90s through to the Advocaat era) am I wrong?

    Why any one would no want Dave King at the club baffles me. The tax case in South Africa was not cut and dry by any means. Dave King has proven himself as a Rangers man previously and is willing to invest when the going get tough. The only people who should be fearful of Dave King taking charge are Celtic fans.

    Gascoigne was definitely world class and Laudrup was close too. The De Boer brothers were also world class on their day (maybe not with us). I would argue that Arthur Numan was up there too - one of the best international full backs at the time.

    I have to admit there is something about Mather I like.

    I would disagree - I do however think when Black was out Law struggled and sat deeper than usual.
