    Surely it would be in his best interests to have us playing in Europe? He wants to start expanding Sports Direct across Europe what better way to advertise that than Champions League football at the Sports Direct Arena.

    Like everyone - I would like to see someone like Dave King in charge however - I do think if Ashley had full control of the club we would be in a better place than we are now. As much as Newcastle disagree with the running of their club - financially they are far better run than we are.

    That is why I said in the "long term", Rangers as a club should not be seen as financial black hole as if someone like Ashley was to make a relatively small investment now (in footballing terms - I mean Arsenal just spent £14m on Wellbeck...) he should be able to stabilize the club and have us running within our means.

    We don't really need a big investment (in the long term) - we just need someone who can run us in a way where we can live within our means and right now we do not have that.

    I would imagine its not in Ashleys interests to let us go bust. I really think that in time we will see Ashley take over.

    The Clyde ssb panel refused to acknowledge double standards and Roger Hannah gave some lame story about Saturday being a working day where Sunday was not. They should just have admitted their mistake at the time.

    We should have approached club like Notts County and offered our the likes of McKay on loan for free.

    They don't want him anymore though - his contract runs out at the end of the season and most of their fans think he is mince.

    The question really is will they even manage to make an impact at the teams they have went to? Outwith Gasparotto and McKay - the rest have shown nothing to suggest they are good enough.

    Another defeat for our u20s last night.... But yeah we should have built the team around youngsters...

As for MacLeod he gets a game because he is good enough to get a game for Rangers, the other players you mention weren't.

    I think you will find I was writing my post before you posted your explanation. Your ignorance however is baffling, our management team - whether you like it or not see these players day in day out. If they were playing well they would be in the team. MacLeod plays every week and that to me is enough evidence of - if you are good enough you will get your chance. Your views are clouded by your dislike for our manager.

    All players can improve. As for the players you mention above - look at the level they have played at - then look at the level of clubs our youth players have joined. None of the players you mention are great but they are proven at level higher than where we are just now. If our youth players were good enough they would be playing, just look at MacLeod.

    IMO out of them all McKay and Gasparotto are the most likely to have a future with us if they have the right attitude.

    Can you honestly say that you have seen anything from Gallagher, Stoney, Walsh or Crawford to suggest they should be playing?
