    Hardy har Never knew that about Bocanegra to be fair although according to this http://www.thegoatparade.com/2014/10/25/7069069/no-storybook-ending-for-carlos-bocanegra-playing-career-chivas-usa seems like they hoped he would have recovered before he retired. I'm sure the concussion symptoms would not last till January. But in truth I am thinking of the days where we would play/sign a wild card - like bringing back Hateley. I would not feel confident going into the cup game without a couple of signings - and with the financial position we find ourselves we will need to think outside the box. Mo Edu on loan anyone?

    If I was McCoist I would be investigating various "wild card" options. I would be looking at Carlos Bocanegra - to come in for 6 months to shore up our defence against them.

    Strachan has said before that he likes to call up the promising youngsters to get to know them and give them experience. I don't expect him to feature in any of the games though.

    I actually think in a footballing sense - we will be strong under Ashley as he will want to get us in the CL so he can rename Ibrox and advertise SD. My worry is what he would do the club in the background. He would most likely carve everything up like David Murray did. I would rather King as Ashley is an arrogant arse however I don't think we will go under again with Ashley at the helm.

    Wow this is exceptionally worrying! I have always liked the scroll crest better but the fact that it seems to have replaced everything is very strange.

    Apparently BBC contacted all professional clubs in the UK for this information (saved them looking at each club individually) - but we did declined to participate.

    The fact that he could pay the SA government out of his spare change suggests he does. On a more serious note I believe Frankie has posted figures around microMegas continual rise over the past year or so. Dave King is wealthier now than when he first invested in the club. If there is one man we can trust I would think it would be him.

    I was never a fan of Whyte, something about him never felt right. As for Green I will admit that at the start if his tenure things seemed to be going well but he lost my trust pretty quickly. Now we find ourselves in a black hole and with King no where in sight. Mike Ashleu could bring us a period of stability of he was to own us. IMO Newcastle fans have delusions of grandeur when it comes to where they should be as a football club. Let me be clear though I am not an Ashley fan, I'm just a fan who wants to be able concentrate in the football on the park.

    I think Ashley would be a decent owner.

    Ashley is not the best man for our club however one thing is for sure - if he was to become out owner we would unlikely go to the wall again. The big question is however how much would he be willing to reinvest to make us successful.
