As much as I think Kiernan can improve it has to be noted he was a very good English Championsip player and was a stand out for Birmingham.

I just don't understand why people think we would go for a Stuart McCall type... Plenty of candidates were interested when we were in the championship and I am sure we would have plenty more interest now we are looking towards Europe. As for Mark Warburton... I really want it to work for him but he really needs to step it up for the big games.

We can't forget where we have come from however the fact of the matter is MWs budget dwarfs every other team bar celtic. We should not be getting beat 4-1from the likes of Hearts.

I've never been so frustrated as a Rangers supporter. The reason I say this is because when we play football we really can play some fantastic stuff (some of the best since Advocaat) yet we can be on the receiving end of results like tonight and have no real complaints.

On thing we need to remember we have a boardroom full of fans - there is bound to be one or two there who feel MW is not good enough (like many loud mouths in the stands). I fully back Warburton but I can see why others would not.

One thing I could not believe was that after 25 minutes there were fans behind me shout to take Toral off. This was then followed by the usual "Warburton yeev no got a clue" Some of our fans never cease to amaze me!

I was at the game and thoroughly enjoyed it. We looked after the ball well but struggled to penetrate a 10 man wall that Motherwell had set up on the edge of their box. We play some neat and tidy stuff but just lack that little bit of quality to break teams at this level down.
