In regards to Bates - know that you are not his biggest fan but is it not true that he is quite highly thought of at Auchenhowie? In regards to Beerman - Kiernan Tierney is only 19 - so hopefully Beerman can grab this chance and impress like he did across the other side of the city.

Slightly off topic - It was interesting to hear Gordon Dalziel talking about Lee Wallace being out for the game and he used the phrase "Lee Wallace has been one of our best players for years"

I am not sure "millions" - we just need the right players. It is crazy to think that summer signings: Barton, Kranjcar, Rossiter, Windass, Crooks and Senderos - have all been failures for one reason or another.

Why are you so against Ferguson? Even if he has in your eyes - committed the ultimate sin - does a man not deserve a second chance? Barry Ferguson has come a long way from PLG era - not to mention captaining us to a UEFA cup final.

Winning a major English trophy is harder than winning a major Scottish trophy. If we won the UEFA cup final then I think it would be a different argument, also let's not forget when he gave that interview it was a couple of days after the game. Perhaps upon reflection he feels differently.
