I'd love to see Smith go up against the "Mighty Brendan". However I still live in hope that we have our very own "Special One" who just needs a little bit more time.

We have to give him the first 5 league games. None of his "big" signings are in or settled. We need to see how the team looks after Alves, Dorrans, Peńa and Herrera are all settled in.

People are quick to forget that we have Alves, Pena, Herrera, Dorrans and possibly other to come in and settle.

I've not hurt this bad since the 2008 final. Shocked and embarrassed is an understatement. However I do believe that we are building something here - many Celtic fans will talk about the huge gulf that exists - but we still have alot of players to settle before the season kicks off. Gutted to be out of Europe so soon though.

I know I am in the minority - but I would still like to see a place for Steven Naismith. Naismith has the drive and passion needed to beat celtic.

Its hard to judge as his three big signings were not playing - I would imagine Alves, Pena and Herrera will all be starters by the start of the season.

I think I am in love with Niko Kranjcar. His passing is truly sublime. I've not seen a standing ovation like that for a while. In terms of the game - it looked like a preseason friendly. They sat in and we never had the guile to break them down. I still think we will go on to have a good season.

Good news about the toilets - they have been a disgrace. I wonder how the exterior will look after a good jet wash. The exterior (not the main stand) has started to looked "dated".
