To be fair to Gordon Duncan (who is a much better host than Gerry...) - he is a Motherwell fan so in this instance would struggle to be impartial.

We need a sense of perspective here - a win tomorrow night could see us go within 4 points of top. If certain games were refereed correctly (Hibs and Sunday’s game) we would be in a fantastic position. These are the fine margins of football.

I hope nothing happens to the Motherwell players - so they have the best possible chance against Celtic to be honest.

Sunday is in the past - tomorrow we have an opportunity to close the gap on one or if not both of the teams sitting in front of us in the league. We must grasp these kind of opportunities with both hands.

I seem to be in an ever shrinking minority but I really like Pedro. A convincing win on Wednesday will put us in a far better place than this time last season. A loss however will really put him under severe pressure.

It’s my little boys first birthday today so I didn’t see the game. However I hope our failure to win the “Diddy” cup can act as a motivator and spur us on to league success. This week we can close the gap on Aberdeen or Celtic (or both of a draw). If we can stay close until January then who knows what the season holds.
