  1. This time last season we were 14 points behind them... with a Goal Difference of 3 Currently we are 6 points behind them... with a Goal Difference of 14. The right managerial appointment could make for a very interesting season.
  2. From Stirling eh.... I'll need to find out who this guy is.
  3. If it is McInnes - I’d rather see Murty as his assistant than Docherty.
  4. I still think we will see McInnes appointed this week.
  5. So two cards rescinded in games where we have dropped points... If he stayed on the park we may only have been 1 point off top.
  6. Gary Ralston article http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/former-rangers-scout-ewan-chester-11441820 "Those glory days, when Rangers reached the equivalent of the Champions League semi-final and the final of the UEFA Cup, have been eclipsed by the success of Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic in recent seasons." Rewriting history I see...
  7. Stephen Wright used to be the boss of my mate before he got the call out of the blue to come back to Rangers. He asked out of curiosity what in particular impressed them, Rangers response was that they were looking for coaches who know what it means to play for a successful Rangers. Cool story I know... however that coupled with Lovenkrands, JJ, Novo, Little and Bomber makes me think McInnes is a shoe in. Bomber is also on record as saying that McInnes out of all the players he played with had the strongest desire to win. (And bomber played with his fair share of winners).
  8. Didn't take training today apparently....
  9. I don’t get the “let’s keep Murty till the end of season” fans. Yes - Murty is highly regarded at Rangers and I know a few youth coaches who have nothing but positives to say about him. But - he is far too inexperienced to be the manager of Rangers football club. I also don’t believe he has the self belief required to go toe to toe with Rodgers and his Celtic team.
  10. After everything that has happened this season we are only 6 points off the top. Let that sink in...
  11. McInnes knows the truth mate.
  12. Thanks for the *SPOILERS* Big Jaws
  13. I love how the Scottish media are convinced that we can't afford to pay compensation. They do realise they said the same all summer as we were paying decent money for players. The more I think about it - McInnes is the logical choice and in turn you would imagine it would weaken Aberdeen. Leave Docherty up there though please.
  14. He is far from Kings pal now.
  15. Not a chance. You are buying into the BBC (Derek Ferguson) fuelled lie that Derek McInnes is not a Rangers man. Trust me McInnes would absolutely jump at the chance. I could be wrong but I believe his family still stay in Glasgow. He needs to shave that horrific beard though!
  16. I know results dictated his departure, but I have this niggle in the back of my mind that’s says Pedro would have got it right in time. I see Weiss is out defending him today.
  17. We need a manager who can lead by example. Someone who has a track record of winning things or a least managed at the highest level (i.e. Allardyce)
  18. [tweet]923626066081611776[/tweet] His next shift with Alan Brazil should be erm interesting....
  19. Nonsense - we paid £500k to get him early. We then gave him between £8-10m to spend. He was far from cheap.
  20. It's official: https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/club-statement-81/
  21. Sad to see him go as he seems a really decent guy. But after last night it was only a matter of time.
  22. Aye Rodgers has a great European record....
  23. A few people on FF claiming his time is up and it will be announced today...
  24. Just in from the game. First half we dominated possession (must have been around 70+%), as for the second half at around 70 minutes it began to look like a matter of not if but when the would equalise. With that said the refereeing at the end was a complete farce, from deliberating the penalty decision with his linesman to the Jack yellow/red card fiasco - where he changed his mind a minute later after a call from the 4th official. Then he decided to cut the game short even though the board showed 6 minutes of added time to be played.
