Meh, Disappointed not to win the world cup tournament. Out in the quarter's to the eventual finalists (France), their keeper was on fire. Some awful draw procedures went on as well as we played France in the group,we lost again the awesome keeper. England won the thing they had some junior footballers in their team. Anyway no news?

British based team and players hideously overvalue their players nowadays. Mr Thompson compared Lafferty and Goodwillie and said they would be equal value. Scottish teams now think they are at a standard of the Championship and value their players accordingly even though they have almost crippling debts. Look abroad, please, no way would we spend more than half our supposed budget on 1 player considering we need at least another 4 players.

I'm with you there, not sure about Petrov, a lower pre team might pick him up or he will move back to Spain. I definitely see us reverting back to a 4-5-1 but this still means we need some width which we do not have. I'd give Lafferty, Velicka and Naismith a chance but still feel they need competition especially if they play poorly during the first few games of the season.

On the video he does seem able to finish. Although stats on a disputed source () shows he doesn't have a great goal scoring record. France will be tougher than the SPL, so hard to judge.

That was my personal opinion as well, 2 strikers of the same nature don't work unless they are world class. I got really annoyed when Walter did the same with Cousin and Velicka or Boyd iirc, it was friendlies but I knew it wouldn't work. I think he played Darcheville and Miller together against Kaunas and that annoyed me. I still think wingers are the option at the moment, but I can't see it happening. Seem to be repeating myself a lot with that statement .

Goncalves is a strange one for me, reasonable player, however wasn't he wanting �£10k a week at Hearts to stay? What would he want here? I feel the full back are a little more priority than centre backs seeing as we have 3 under contract and probably 4 when Weir signs on.
