Imo Lillie are basically a feeder club to Lyon, this just seems a one off for them this season. They have some good players like Hazard but he will end up going in the summer

I remember when we won the league he said about not drinking too much as he was doing his badges, not sure if that was last season or the season before.

He has been a true pro and been a very successful servant to our club but as people say maybe a season too far.

If Laudrup was available I would take him but as he has a club its rather futile. I also wouldn't mind Wilkins but would we really be able to afford his wages? Laudrup really comes under that category of wages as well.

I would prefer a manager who was shrewd in the transfer market and look to younger players and avoid stop gaps and loans as we will lose 3 players in the summer. That will put us down to 15 players? Plus Weir will be out of contract, then a fair few first teamers will also be in their last year looking quite bleak at the moment for anybody to take charge at the moment.

Fresh start imo, McCoist will bring in the same attitudes towards games like Walter.

Tbh I called for him to retire at the start of 09/10 season but he was brilliant, was caught out for pace a few times but his reading of the game is top notch. This season he has been very very average, a season too far indeed for me.

Technically yes its better than the EPL, but when an EPL side who are 4th or 5th at the moment and Milan are top and lose at home it does seem to me that it isn't all that. They may have a better standard of depth in teams but that doesn't matter its whats on show in the biggest competition and Milan are representing the league as they ended up in the highest position last season which was 4th, I think. I don't like the EPL but its clearly better than Serie A currently. Even the Bundesliga is probably better than the Serie A.

Roma are apparently pretty poor at the moment, weakest Serie A at the moment imo, especially in CL terms. Inter are pretty ropey as well.

He wasn't after? Seeing as he scored the goals that won the World Cup 4 years later. Knocked Man Utd out single handedly. His knees ruined him more than the fit imho. Sad to see him retire but he has fairly put on the pounds.
