    I would take what we paid for him and get a better player in. I am however thinking that Ally will want to keep him so I will wait and see.

    I like your optimism on those 3, I thought I heard Hutton was released, mind. Giovanni Dos Santos is almost going back to Spain and well I don't think Man City want to loan us Weiss but they may change their mind in mid August if he is still on their books.

    I wouldn't say that, Sven has had a very dubious few years as a football manager. Plus the money that they guy Danns is probably going to get. Ally should have the players onside as he has trained with them and worked with them for 4 years. Plus he had a good reputation as a player so, in summary its to do with the money.

    I agree our squad is severely lacking. I said in another thread if there isn't at least 2 or 3 new players by the 23rd of July I will be rather annoyed.

    With Cuellar its awkward he is in his last year, I believe that is why we are penny pinching but should have bid at least �£2m first time and try and meet in the middle. Goodwillie his case is the main problem if the media is to believed his case for the rape charge is meant to be sorted this week. He has another one as well but apparently that is a fine but we will wait and see...

    I agree, nothing has happened for me, he has been away for at least 2 weeks of being in charge iirc, hopefully everything is pushed on now. The only thing is Whittaker being a disappointment, although I agree Whittaker isn't worth �£20k a week, Bursaspor has turned his and his agents head, very poor show.

    For a player in his final year, �£3m is quite steep even for a player of Cuellar's quality. We are far too open in my eyes baulking at steep prices not exactly what us, the fans want to hear.

    Heh not much weather difference maybe a bit warmer in Belgium and possibly staying in mainland Europe, still a funny comment. He was player of the year in Israel so he is quite a decent player but were we ever really interested? Doubtful.

    A chronic undervaluation, by both Blackburn and us. Even if he has been poor this season and underperformed if we sell Edu for �£2m I will be less than happy for a few reasons. 1) He has 2 years left on his contract 2) He is a proven player (International, CL and trophy winner) 3) Blackburn sold an unproven player for �£18m, they have the cheek to bid �£1m, if true cause talksport aren't very reliable in my mind 4) Blackburn also have this chicken money weren't they pursing stupid people like Kaka. 5) Every club under the sun currently think we are soft touches from what the media are reporting (again not reliable), with bids etc. Or maybe they are just testing Whyte? Anyway not a very happy chappy to say the least. This isn't just based on Edu but money is turning our players heads as well rather frustrating, could be possible tapping up? How can they agree a package if we don't allow our player to speak to them? Agents playing silly buggers and negotiating deals behind our back probably. I wouldn't be so worried if we got what we paid for Edu cause we could use a good bit of that to get someone else who could be better suited to our play.

    Michael Bradley, American international, plays in Germany and hardly played for Villa (whilst on loan) not really wanting him.
