I would prefer he went to Cardiff. But Malky McKay is doing a similar style scouting to his former team we go after someone then usually celtic are after the player as well seems like McKay is doing exactly the same.

ITV get one match a week now and won't show qualifiers haven't for the past 2 years at least. I remember BBC Scotland used to screen qualifiers but I think Sky have taken the lot but EPSN might have one or 2 qualifiers.

Used to be like 3 years ago after the Kaunas disaster thats the European campaign over. Now since the new rules have come into place only a year later if you lose you have another chance in the EL. Celtic blew both chances last season

Don't even know what date has been picked for the first leg, I know its the 26th or the 27th. I would suspect Sky maybe ESPN.

SPL - Winners Scottish Cup - Winners League Cup - Youth/Plus fringe players Europe - Group Stages of CL (3rd)/ Then 1 or 2 round in the EL Brand of football - More attack minded with better passing and quicker movement, 4-4-2/ 4-3 (Davis - McCulloch - Edu/Ness) -3 (Ortiz - Jelavic - Naismith) not send it all the way back to the keeper/ Weir to hoof it up the field. I would use the 4-3-3 if Lafferty isn't fit because I'm still unsure about Healy, Beattie is a right off and Hemmings is just a little too inexperienced.

Yeah I think the season start is too early we will finish in mid May far too long a season.

In my eyes its Burley trying to ship out Bikey as he is in his final year and probably a high earner and nobody wants him. So Burley thought we will put a cheeky type bid in for Lafferty. If this was mid season about a year and half ago I might have considered it but not now.

If we are going to get Cuellar and keep Bougherra and possibly go for Bartley as well. Wouldn't that be a detrimental effect on Davie seeing as he has to play every week probably to keep himself sharp. Maybe its more of a coaching/passing on the knowledge to players young or old. I have made my feelings on Davie playing on but currently he is better than Broadfoot...

Neither can I and I hope there isn't but you never know. �£6m - �£10m would be max for me. I thought �£10m was his max for the first season anyway so hopefully we don't go over that.

Not sure its the best way to go about it. Teams will hike up the prices now if we decide to go after a certain player. Plus players now will want a better wage from us if we get bids accepted. Of course it may be reassuring to have that money but I don't want another Murray era of reckless spending.

If we have the �£15m not �£18m Bears then I would go after Weiss but I wouldn't go silly. I still think a fullback would be reasonable and a midfielder and a striker ok maybe I am going a little silly .

Stewart Downing passed his "medical" at Villa when he was out for 5 or 6 months iirc. Teams bypass some parts if a player is out injured. I remember AC Milan not taking Ally Cissokho because they checked his teeth and apparently that showed some other problem...

I wouldn't say that at all about the Swedish league there can be some great finds in that leagues. Most of the clubs would be middle of the road SPL clubs maybe higher, well infact most of them would probably giving Hearts a run for their money. You can't take them lightly even when they won the league against teams like Gothenburg and AIK etc. Kaunas are a worst side than Malmo and look what happened there...
