    We need some outside influence on coaching methods, preferably a nation that could do all the basics and help improve technique, that Dutch guy at the SFA now might help? We are a middle of the road European Team but our reputation will be slightly in decline after last night as it probably was after Kaunas.

    I hope they try and enforce the Financial fair play because a lot of team would be struggling. PSG and Malaga have Man City type owners so all 3 of them could have problems, there are many others that could be in trouble. I not sure about the exact rules but isn't to do with Turnover to expenditure? Europe is pandered to the big leagues, 3 teams get to go straight into the group stage. This new qualification has helped the lesser nations well except Scotland in all honesty.

    I can't see the Blackburn manager last 6 months if I'm honest, the chicken farmers are confusing and asking him to go over to India midweek to have a talk with them, did that mid season last year.

    Pointless negotiating with Thompson he is a twat. It would be funny if Goodwillie rejected Blackburn but that is doubtful. Move on we are acting more and more desperate especially since we cocked ourselfs up with bidding for him after he became available so to speak after the rape case was dropped. �£2m was the absolute the max I would pay for him not �£2.8m. Even if �£800k is on add ons. I don't believe �£2m upfront is totally acceptable for him.

    Mad Vlad should manage if he feels nobody is capable as he just keeps giving managers the boot at the wrong times.

    It isn't a big stadium so surely most Malmo fans would buy up the tickets unless they don't have the demand.

    From what I have heard Verhoek isn't that expensive and from youtube (yes I know) looks a good player, he also won a Dutch player award which is very good considering he doesn't play for the likes of Ajax, PSV, Twente, etc.

    Nah, it was rumoured that Jos�© Couceiro (he is the guy that managed Kaunas when we got knocked out) was going to become manager, but he is quite new in the Lokomotiv Moscow managers job.

    3 games, loads of signings, a draw against us , theres the door mad Vlad strikes again . Feel for JJ and BB as they have done quite well since being sacked by Kilmarnock but you never know with Vlad.

    As I said it would be pointless matching Blackburn's bid as soon as a club have put in a bid over what selling club are wanting then that is now their set price. We have missed out on him imo, felt he could have added something but our bidding strategy is slightly questionable. Not so much when said case was still hanging over him. I don't get Blackburn bids either it, was it �£1.8m first? Dundee Utd wanted �£2m and they would have said yes, Blackburn then bid �£2.8m , priced us out of a move but we weren't really pushing the boat out either from what I have seen in the media... I hope we have other targets and not put all our eggs in one basket can't be doing with another Beattie signing.

    It was probably only �£3m, maybe less, if you take into account the sales of Thomson and Wilson.

    Cuellar is probably picking up his higher wage at Aston Villa before returning to training then he might make a decision, well I hope so. Although the pursuit of Juhasz imo means we are looking at alternatives but if we lose Bougherra we probably need him. In my opinion McCoist needs time. However there are some issue both transfers but that is out of his hands and team selections but the big game on Wednesday night will be very interesting.

    I think we should look at other targets. I very much doubt we will get Goodwillie now. I also believe we need a striker because in the first 3 games that lack of use with Healy and Hemmings says it all for me, especially the first 2 games when we needed a goal. Lafferty will be 2nd choice striker behind Jelavic but they will play together and Naismith will no doubt go back to the wing area. A lot might be dependant on the CL result as well.

    Personally I don't think we do. Belgium have some talents, Eden Hazard, Lukaku. Serbia and Croatia are pretty damn good.

    Technically he is an EU player but if you are from Romania you still need a permit, tougher rules for them I think. McDonald Mariga played in Italy and failed to get a work permit at Man City ended up Inter so it wasn't as bad, although he is Kenyan. However his brother the guy Celtic signed got a permit very confusing especially with the supposed rules on countries below 75 places in the world rankings....

    Yeah I'm not doubting that but a �£4,500 bonus is good enough imo. I doubt he would even last 90 minutes. He used to be good but injuries have ruined his career.

    Too Generous Zappa, half it and it would be better .

    Think we have slightly been hoping for that with a few of our bids, players requesting to move. I doubt we will make another bid if we do it won't be much more than �£3m, well I hope. He might be a good player but I don't want a large chuck of money spend on one player again.
