I wouldn't be surprised either he did not look pleased, most people would consider walking. Whyte seems to not trust McCoist because he refused to back him, or we will get the smokescreen bullshit that we went after Holt (a very unobtainable target) and tried our best but couldn't get him.
Both have been naive in many ways and it could mean Ally walks, his policy of saying he is interested in players has not done him any favours and Whyte hasn't done himself any favours if that reported figure is factually correct.
Oh I know Whyte has been saying he spent £5m but he's wrong Bougherra and Adam = £2.5m. He is counting the wages extravagant they are as well and the 3 that signed on have all been below their best.

Looks annoyed in the short video.

When I said 5.5M it was based on the fact Everton have no money except what they received for the Russian - widely speculated at being 5M. They probably had an extra 500k to top it up a bit and we took it, simply because it was the only deal on the table.
But yes, speculation is the key word.
They had money from the Arteta sale and spent on Gibson as well.

The club was right to reject the 7M West Ham bid, and try to get more. It was worth the gamble of not just bending over as soon as someone bid for a player. But in hindslight it hasn't worked in our favour and cost us at least £1.5M.
More if Rapid Vienna had a sell on clause.

Look on the bright side.... all that money that we splashed out has now been recovered by the sale of Jelavic as well as numerous players going on loan elsewhere....
Oh, wait, Craig Whyte promised a 5 mill transfer kitty..... so Craig, does that roll over now that we are not net spenders for the season ?
Farcical goings on.
Yep, the money we got from Bougherra and Adam seem to be not included either. Ali Russell is a mean negotiator almost puts Bain in a good light... If it is Russell that does the transfer dealing.

Is that all we got ? No add-ons ?
Poor business.
No mention of it.

£5.5m wow what a joke.

Bendkisen technically?

Hutton signed the new deal last season but has been loaned to Dunfermline. Better option than McCulloch but in the end the manager's decision to let him go, can't blame the owner for that one or can you...

Play him.
After Whittaker's start to this season he would be my first choice RB.
Of course I'm no expert & I don't see him train or his attitude, but if they wanted to sell him then surely even playing him purely for sake of having him in the shop window to increase his price would have been a better option?
No because he was out of contract at the end of the season.

Questions need to asked and answered if nothing happens and its looking likely and selling one of our prized assets this late on.

STV saying the same.
Apocalyptic with rage, well I exaggerate but I am not happy but could see it coming.

Daily express writer who gets everything wrong.

That's disappointing. Promising player who looked at ease in the SPL. Better at RB than Bartley tbh.
Can't blame him at all 23 years old not getting a chance when is very capable from matches I've seen him play same with Bendiksen.
Sandaza , no thanks.
I don't want Holt but I can see that as the ready made excuse along with the undisclosed transfer of Jelavic.
Patience with myself is on thin ice and we still are going for midfielders baffled although Templeton would not be bad but we would have far too many wingers.

Quick back track there, Gazza. Unreliable source?
I would have preferred he stayed, not sure who we would get but we are still apparently going for wingers/midfielders

I don't want us loaning under 21 year olds from EPL clubs they don't have the necessary experience, I'm afraid.

Thought it was £3.5m up front with further add on to make it £7m maybe...
The way the press have twisted the words we have accepted £3.5m.
It will be undisclosed and us, the fans, won't have a clue bar press speculation.

I didn't believe Boyd would got past 32 in his career. Tbh it was the beginning of the end when he left us not being harsh on him but he wanted to try something different and it hasn't worked so he wants to try something else. It is also apparent that McCoist did not want and we are crying out for strikers.

Linked with David Templeton AGAIN.
In what way?
Training in the heat, Portland has a better climate than Houston but still it would get hotter over there in the summer than here.
I am despairing about recent activities if I'm honest not very impressed if rumours are to be believed.

So many figures flying about but still not the sum I think we could get so I despair . If we sell for under £8m.
£6m is no use and its apparently with a load of incentives but I'm fearful.
11pm deadline on the 30th WTF is all that about?

Why would we accept 3.2m up front, after rejecting nigh twice as much from promotion-hopefuls West Ham?
Did West Ham offer it up front? They may have said £2m up front and £5m over the next 12/18/24 months.

I've been hearing figure £3.5m up front then £1.5m after than, nothing else, I would be raging, especially if we rejected £7m.
If the selling figure is undisclosed then there will be suspicions on my part

Anybody know what Everton got for the Russian lad?
Half of what they paid for him £10m and they got £5m. I think Moyes was allowed all the Arteta cash and maybe is allowed all this cash.

He's struggling big time at Bristol. 6 points off relegation zone.
How? They were worse off before.

Will Ally be considering his position?

If it is true then I sort of agree with Whyte, Holt is an unrealistic and unobtainable target, what got into Ally's mind that he would join?
