  1. Just to be clear, an old man was kicked down stairs, nearly had his arm broken, had his chest repeatedly stomped on, needed hospitalised for his injuries. Because he was wearing this. Yet here's @alexscottislegend to politely remind us that it's not Jews that they hate, it's just Israel and celtic supporters aren't antisemitic. Despite their fans initially trying to rubbish this story as "Jew lies".
  2. So they're sound to attack the 56 year old man because they hate Israel and not Jews? Despite this being a Jewish man..? Shut up man.

    Butland

There's always been something lacking in his game, and those who know the game the best, seem to have spotted it early on. Remember at one stage early on in his career he was tipped to be England's next best keeper, new number one etc. Stopped featuring much, had a few injuries, and never reached the heights he was supposed to.
  4. https://news.stv.tv/west-central/man-seriously-assaulted-in-stands-at-celtic-park-as-investigation-launched Don't think enough of a fuss is made about how antisemitic that club is. Driven out Jewish players as well.

Am no having that mate. Even Butland was annoyed with himself after the first goal. It skipped through his hands fs 😂

😂 Yer joking? Telling me no other goalie does better for those chances?
  7. Hmm, sure I'd read he had an extension option for 2027. Turns out this isn't about him though its just shitely worded. Also there were plenty of offers there for the aforementioned players, we kept holding out to try and get better offers, and ultimately ended up with egg on our faces because we held on to long, the players got fed up or declined. The only one no one wanted was Goldson, and we decided to go back in and give him another deal.
  8. Tav is contracted to 2027, and I actually think it was a mistake to renew it for so long. Should've sold Tavernier after we reached the Europa league final when he was top goalscorer. Bassey, Aribo, Tav and Kamara all should've gone together for big money. Instead we renewed deals and it bit us on the arse.
  9. Wouldn't say constantly rebuilding, but constantly strengthening certainly. I.e with the Gerrard era, when we won the league, we should've strengthened, but the board gambled, and much of that gamble lost us our manager that year by not backing him, effectively. We need to be constantly looking for the next best thing.
  10. Fair enough mate 👍🏻 it was just pissing me off that he keeps defaulting to must want money flung at us, praise those that kept the lights on etc. Like battering yer head off a wall, just want us ran properly, not much to ask for 😫
  11. Indeed. They had the opportunity to turn how the club was being run around when they took over from the spivs. However, they in turn made multiple wrong decisions, spaffed money up the wall, fumbled the football department and the major decisions in managers, coaches, player recruitment, scouting network etc. They fucked it all, they were originally heroes, the Rangers men saviours. Became spivs themselves.
  12. With all due respect mate, you seem to be a fucking idiot, that cannot read what is written Infront of you and decide to interpret things in your own weird way. Where have I ever said about flinging loads of money at it? Go and look at my post to CammyF, it was never about flinging money at it, it was actually about running the club properly, which although those shite people may have kept the lights on, they fucked up so badly that they needed soft loans to do it. Being a good owner doesn't mean flinging money at something, fundamentals of the club were wrong at all levels, spending money on legacy projects etc rather than consolidating from a winning position under Gerrard for example, taking a gamble that the squad would do it again and deciding not to invest in the squad, all basic stuff that wasn't looked after. Shambles of a football department for a club of our size, trying to compensate by using daft AI software and ending up with one of the worst injury laden few years I've seen at the club. Please stop contributing mate, you're utterly clueless.
  13. Looked like we could've played all night and still done absolutely nothing. No fight, urgency, pride, not even anger. They're done, so are we. Takeover is all we have now.
  14. But everything you've just mentioned there, was all by the same people - King, Parks etc. We've had the same incompetent owners over that period. That was my point. And it was half-arsed at every opportunity. We need to stop being obtained by shite people.
  15. Indeed. The current incumbents are quick to shout about the fans and how much they hate us and that we cost them money etc, but they have mismanaged the club into the ground. Money on legacy projects, and then overspending on those projects, tittering about with pointless off-pitch stuff, name plaques for themselves, champions walls etc, all while spending or recruiting poorly in the areas of the business that actually mattered the most - the football department. Average or shit managers a plenty, poor recruitment, poor outlay on those poorly recruited players. There are championship and lower level premiership clubs that are better managed than we have been in recent years.
  16. @BEARGER sits behind you?
  17. Sensible. But there has to be a balance. For example: Can't just frontload a warchest and pay it over the next ten years having one good season out of those years. But you also can't just buy relatively safe average prospects and go baron for years on end. Rangers has to be capable of building an academy and scouting network that can bring in players young, have a successful impact and move on for high profits. Really you want the bulk of the cash going on scouts and player identification/development.
  18. Had that chance in 2012, royally fucked it, had that chance again when Dave King and the Three Bears took over from the spivs, royally fucked that too. We keep being obtained by shite owners. That's the crux of it.
  19. A new cycle cannot include James Tavernier, how many managers has he seen the back of? He cannot be allowed to continue seeping his mentality into every Rangers squad since the Championship and Mark Warburton! I don't care about his personal stats or achievements either before anyone starts, I care about Rangers' achievements and in his time here, how many trophies have we won? How many runners up has he over seen? Igamane will make us money, so will Raskin if he keeps getting selected for Belgium. Kasa, Barron, Diomande, hot and cold, mostly cold, though with Kasa we've not seen much and that doesn't bode well if he can't work his way into this side. I've written Cortes off tbh. So I stick by, there's two players I'd keep, Raskin and Igamane. Fire sale everything else. The new owners, ST money and the aforementioned fire sale 😁 strap in 👍🏻
  20. We don't need to seeout the last "rebuild" Nils Koppen couldn't build IKEA furniture. We've overpaid for average/below par footballers, even taken some of them on tick like Diomande, further hemorrhaging money on crap. This cycle, it needs to end, and the cycle of James Tavernier as Rangers captain/player certainly needs to end. I'd at most, be keeping two players from this entire squad, and it's Raskin and Igamane.
  21. If you argue that, my argument would be I'll point you to a mainstay of all those squads and where the loser mentality has came from - James Tavernier. Gut the rot. There will be wonderful changes 👍🏻 It all needs to go.
  22. TV money has everything to do with it. For example pre-Sky football in the 90s Manchester United couldn't afford to compete with us over Archie Knox. We were the richest club in Britain, capable of handling the champions of England and knocking them out of the Champions League. Sky changed the scope of everything. Other countries giving large deals out for TV money to follow suit, some countries even getting state and royal funding, see Saudi, Spain etc. Don't need to try and get political with it, TV money did it 😂
