If Barry Ferguson has any sense he won't return to international football. A 32 year old with a history of serious injuries shouldn't even dream of it

Unless there are cities in Britain without bars and clubs, i doubt a change of club is necessary

Personally i don't believe his all round game has improved very much at all tbh. I've just learned not to particularly care about it considering his scoring record. Our last 3 games he's been totally anonymous but still popped up with a goal.
-
All the goals from the 03/04 season were on a bonus disc with the 'Young Guns: Tales from a Blue Heaven' DVD and i think the 06/07 goals were on the Walter's Return: Rangers Revitilised dvd 97/98 was never released though, which was pretty annoying for collectors like myself

I'm pretty sure these are the only away games that haven't been live on TV in the last 8 years: 1-1 draw at Kilmarnock, opening day of the 02/03 season 1-1 draw at Hearts, late in the 03/04 season, Craig Moore scored a penalty 3-3 draw at Dundee United, again late in the 03/04 season 3-2 win at Dunfermline, final day of the 03/04 season 1-1 draw at Dundee United, 04/05 season, Namouchi last minute equaliser 1-0 win at Inverness, 2nd game of the 05/06 season 1-1 draw at Falkirk, early in the 05/06 season 2-2 draw at Livingston, midweek game in the 05/06 season 2-1 win at Falkirk, 05/06 season just before we played Villarreal 3-1 win at Kilmarnock, late in the 05/06 season 3-3 draw at Hibs, late in the 06/07 season 2-0 defeat at Aberdeen, final day of the 06/07 season (NOT the year we lost the title at Pittodrie) I was very bored

Was definately on TV as i remember watching it
-
lol, yes he was indeed a Rangers reject as he couldn't get a game and our new manager decided not to recall him from loan when he took over. Whereas he was a regular for almost the entirety of his time at Celtic and actually scored 3 goals in his last 2 games for them
-
I love how he calls Miller a Celtic reject when the reality is that Liewell sold him to Derby against Chesney's wishes
-
We drew 3-3 at Easter Road in April/May 2007 and it wasn't on TV Can't remember any since
-
Difficult one to predict If we play like we did in midweek, we'll drop points for sure I'll go for a 2-1 win

Portsmouth make plea to Premier League to sell players

I'm almost certain that Wigan sold Jimmy Bullard to Fulham in April 2006 and it was a simple case of Bullard sitting out the rest of the season, so it's not unheard of -

I don't think Billy Davies would leave Nottingham Forest if we had no transfer budget -
My one doubt over a treble is if we were to draw Celtic in the semi or final. Given it's almost certainly their only chance of a trophy, their players would give an extra 10-15%. Whilst hardly conclusive proof that they'd beat us, they did outplay us in the last OF game.

The last player Liverpool produced who became an established first team player was Gerrard 12 years ago. Warnock would be closest to that, with Danny Guthrie, Neil Mellor, David Thompson having reasonable careers -

Hutton, McGregor, Wilson, Fleck, Adam, McCormack would collect a combined transfer fee of over £20 million if they were all sold by their clubs today. Whilst hardly perfect, our youth system churns out numerous players who will have above average careers which is all that can really be expected from a footballing backwater -

In the last 10 years we have produced Barry Nicholson, Maurice Ross, Bob Malcolm, Stephen Hughes, Ross McCormack, Chris Burke, Charlie Adam, John Fleck, Danny Wilson, Allan McGregor, Graeme Smith, Steven Smith, Steven MacLean all of whom have built solid careers for themselves I do think some fans are too ambitious and feel that because we once produced a Barry Ferguson, we should be producing players of a similar standard every year -
Doubt that's likely given our average weekly wage is probably about £10,000. Our wagebill is apparently the lowest its been in 15 years

"He's one of the best strikers in the world" Yeah; so good he lasted 6 months at Liverpool and couldn't get a game ahead of Peter Crouch at Spurs

Levein's out of the picture now and Calderwood is arguably the best manager in the SPL who hasn't played for Celtic (which i presume would be enough to rule out John Hughes, though you never know) With the current mess, we'd almost certainly just want another Walter type figure, a Scotsman who would provide stability and accept no transfer budget. Craig Brown wouldn't surprise me either A few months ago i was certain we'd have new owners by the end of the season, now i'm pretty certain we won't -

If there's no new owner in the summer and Walter does indeed walk, i'd firmly expect Jimmy Calderwood to take over *cries* There's no way our present board would aim higher than that I think he'll still be here regardless though -

The only way i'd consider a young foreigner is if he actually wanted the Rangers job for what it was rather than as a 12 month jolly before getting a move to the Premiership -

I just feel that after a decade of being second best (yes we won a lot of trophies but there was never any point in the last 10 years where you could say we were clearly better than Celtic) we shouldn't be advocating throwing away stability and sustained domestic success just because of Walter's age/poor record of bringing through youngsters/poor record in the Champions League (the three main reasons why people usually say he should leave) We'd all love a thriving youth system but how many clubs in Britain as a whole are producing a lot of top quality youngsters on a regular basis? Liverpool haven't produced any in 10 years and they're one of the biggest clubs in the world. The last decade has saw 3 different Rangers teams created and then ripped up, replaced by even cheaper alternatives. I want to see this team play together for 4 or 5 years with 1 or 2 alterations per summer, not the 'complete overhaul' that a lot of long-termist supporters call for. Not yet anyway.
